Section Title issue

Hello:
I get a "section should only contain one title element" message in my reference topic.
I have two titles, but they're both for figures that are used in a single <li> in a <ul>.
Should I be using a different element to provide a visible description of the images? Or is it a bug that only one title can be used in the section? (Or is there another solution?)
Thanks!

Hi Stacey,
According to the DITA 1.2 specification:
http://docs.oasis-open.org/dita/v1.2/os ... ml#section
A section may have an optional title.
So it is not OK to have more than one titles in the section. And from what I remember the publishing will ignore the second title.

Radu

Hi Radu:
Figures can have titles:
https://docs.oasis-open.org/dita/v1.0/langspec/fig.html
A title for a figure in a section shouldn't be the same as a title for a section, should it?
(Would the fact that I didn't use a section title have an impact?)
Thanks,
Stacey

Hi Stacey,
What version of Oxygen are you using? I'm testing with Oxygen 18.1.
Also could you post a small sample DITA content showing how the situation looks like on your side?

Radu

Hi Radu:
Yes, it's oXygen 18.1.
It seems to be working now, so maybe I did something wrong the first time? I didn't take a screenshot of text view (and it doesn't look like I had committed it), so I can't confirm exactly how things were when it wasn't working.
It does have two <fig>s with <title>s and I'm not getting the error message. (I inserted them again and it seemed to work this time.)
Thank you for trying to help!

Hi Stacey,
No problem, if this happens again just give us some more details and we'll try to reproduce the problem on our side.
