Oxygen Enterprise vs. Professional

Hi,

When I purchased my license for Oxygen, I had difficulty determining which version to get. I considered getting the Enterprise version, but the information I found describing the differences between it and the Professional version was meager. It indicated only one difference: that the Enterprise version provides the ability to connect Oxygen to a database - but it didn't explain what you could do with such a database connection.

* What can you do with a database connection?

Thanks,

Chris Boorman.

Hello,

Oxygen XML Editor offers the means for managing the interaction with some of the most commonly used databases (both Relational and Native XML databases). Through this interaction, Oxygen XML Editor helps users with browsing, content editing, importing from databases, using XQuery with databases, SQL execution, and generating XML Schema from a database structure.

Best Regards,
Costin

Is there a difference in hardware between the two oXygen XML systems?

I guess that by "two systems" you refer to the two available editions (Enterprise/Professional)

There is the same installation kit for oXygen XML Editor, whatever the edition you choose.
The edition you are allowed to use is determined by the license key, as there are different keys for different editions of a product type, but to install oXygen XML Editor there are no different hardware requirements, as there are no different installation kits for each edition.
