File open behaviour on startup

I really miss the feature that opened all the files you previously had open (available up to and including version 6.0). I don't want to have to put files into a project - I just want to keep them there. Please can we have this as an option again?

Thanks.

Hello,

The option was never removed. Enable it from Preferences - Global - Open last edited files. It works only if you have a project opened in the Project Panel.

Thanks. OK. Fixed it now. But I still think it's a pity you have to have a "project" first. That wasn't necessary before. Am not a big fan of projects :-(

Hi,

In all <oXygen/> versions it was necessary to have a project opened in the Project Panel. The opened files will be associated with that project. If they are not associated with a project they would be opened for all projects and most users, if not all, don't want that. They want to remember the settings of that project and they don't want project interferences like files remained opened in one of them are also opened in the others.

Regards,
Sorin

Thanks. I appreciate that.
