Profiling styles no longer showing in Editor

XML Editor 16.1, build 2014102117

I have set up some custom profiling styles for use with DITA / otherprops, and had specified some colors to display the text with. It used to work - I'm sure!

Recently I've been re-opening some of the files I originally used it in, and they no longer visibly show any marking of the elements that have the "otherprops" attribute set. I tried creating a new attribute value, but no change.

Any ideas??

regards, Dan

Hello Dan,

I believe that you've disabled by accident the Show profiling colors and Styles option. On the toolbar there is a a funnel shaped icon that presents all profiling related options. Please make sure Show profiling colors and Styles it's selected.

Best regards,
Alex

Hello,

Is there an easy way to show these colours in pdf or html output?
What we'd like to do is create a pdf file for reviewing that shows changes (flagged with the rev attribute).

Cheers,

Eddie.

Hi Eddie,

This is not possible out of the box.
But you could create a DITAVAL filter file with content like:

Code: Select all

<val>
<prop action="flag" att="rev" val="2.0" color="red"/>
</val>
and use it in the transformation scenario to produce the PDF.

Radu
