Oxygen XML Forum

For some reason oxyegn 6 takes about 7 minutes to open on my machine (3 GHz, 1 gig RAM Dell workstation). I had a look in the system properties in the about dialog and it show my java version at 1.4.2_05. I had a look at the CPU usage and it shows the oxygen process running at 100%. I've tried rebooting and starting Oxygen with nothing else open on the machine and it still takes as long.
Any suggestions on how I can make it open faster?

Hi Rob,

That is strange... please close all the files then close oXygen. Then start it ans see if you get the same behavior. If you still have problems one other thing is to rename/delete the com.oxygenxml folder to reset it to the initial state and give another try to see how much time it takes to start up. If you still have problems write us to support at oxygenxml dot com and we will send you a configuration file to enable the application logging.
