When I start Oxygen XML Editor then it creates automatically a new folder "OxygenXMLEditor") in the directory which reperesents the system var "MY DOCUMENTS" (Here: D:\work)

How can I move the location for this folder to e.g. a sub-directory of Oxygen installation folder?

I found no option in Preferences.

Hi,

When you start a new version of Oxygen for the first time, it copies the 'samples' folder from the Oxygen installation folder (Oxygen/samples) to the 'OxygenXMLEditor' folder in the Documents/My Documents folder. It only does this once (per user account).
If you don't want it there, you can simply delete (or move) the 'OxygenXMLEditor' folder (you still have a copy in Oxygen/samples).

Note that the samples have to be located in a folder with write access (your user home or documents folder) for the sample transformations to work correctly, because output and temporary folders are by default set to the parent folder of the input file.
Oxygen is installed by default in 'Program Files' where usually (Windows Vista/7/8) the applications don't have write access.
