Extending table via profiling settings

Post by Nadine K »

Hi
I learned that there is no way to filter on table columns, saying i want to see table column 3 only for audience "xx".

I am working on a workaround for this problem as I want to re-use (and extend) existing tables for different output formats (re-using at least part of the tables)
Is there a way to reference to an existing table and adding columns to the referenced table?

I am working with Oxygen 17.1 and Dita 1.2

regards,
Nadine

Hi Nadine,

Please see some answers below:

You can filter entire columns in DITA <simpletable>s, you just need to set the proper profiling attribute on each <stentry> cell in that column.

No way that I know of.
