XML Editor SEO Function

Post by nicole »

Hi, I'm new to Oxygen XML editor, and wonder if it's SEO friendly. I mean do Oxygen XML have any functions that can help the content it create good for google search?

Hello,

Oxygen XML Editor doesn't have a specific function to generate SEO friendly content. If the generated WebHelp Responsive output is SEO friendly or not, mostly depends on how the DITA topics are written.

While Oxygen does not offer SEO-specific consultancy, you should consider the following tips: Regards,

Tried all of these. None of these helped in overriding the <topic> tag in the html head section.

Hello,

The <topic> element is not present in the html head section, I think you meant <title> tag.

If the content mentioned before is not enough to generate SEO-friendly content, you can still try to add keywords into your topics.

You can also try to define specific topic titles by using XSLT Extensions
You can find examples of titles customization in our GitHub pages: Regards,
