Block container in FOP

Hi all,

Can anyone let me know if the block-container option is well supported in FOP .20 release. Worked well in .90. HAving some problems with block container and absolute positioning.

Hello,

I think you mean that it worked well in 0.20 and you are not sure if it is well supported in 0.90 or 0.91 beta. The Apache FOP team says that FOP version 0.91 should not be a regression regarding block-container but support for block-container is still partial, so it is hard to know if it works in your particular situation. Anyway I think you should follow the remarks on the FOP website about block-container: for absolute positioning, use 'position="absolute"' (as 'absolute-position="absolute"' is not implemented), and specify all four of "left", "top", "width" and "height".
