Open topic as view-only from CCMS?

We use the Astoria CCMS as our repository, and Oxygen as our XML editor.

We'd like to use the View command in Astoria to open topics as view-only in Oxygen (rather than directly in Astoria). Often, authors want to look at a document in the marked-up detail view of Oxygen, but don't want to check it out.

How can we do this?

Hi Corinne,

You should address this question to the Astoria CMS support email address. Oxygen has API to open files as read-only so technically this is possible to implement.
