Hi,
I want to transform only a submap that uses keyrefs where the keys are defined in a parent map.
When I look at the submap in Oxygen XML Author everything resolves fine. However when I publish to pdf none of the keys are resolved.
Should publishing of a submap look to its parent maps for resolving keys?
Also can I specify the root map when running a transformation the same way that I can in Oxygen XML Author?
Thanks in advance,
Ann
Transforming a submap (only) when keys defined in parent map
Re: Transforming a submap (only) when keys defined in parent map
Hi Ann,
So:
No.
No. The publishing is an external process which starts from the published DITA Map.
You probably need to get organized, have a separate DITA Map which defines all keys, then include this separate DITA Map from the main DITA Map.
When publishing a submap, include this separate keys map from the submap and publish. Or create another map which refers the submap and the keys dita map and publish that one.
