Define standard parameter for transformation scenarios
Post here questions and problems related to oXygen frameworks/document types.
Define standard parameter for transformation scenarios
Hi
Is it possible (in oXygen 17/Eclipse) to set fix.external.ref.com.oxygenxml = true and generate.copy.outer = 3 as a default for all transformation scenarios? This means, even when I create a new one, that these two parameters are already set correctly?
Thanks.

Re: Define standard parameter for transformation scenarios
Hi,
Sorry but we do not have such a setting. Maybe a possibility would be to create default transformation scenarios at document type/framework level having these parameters already set to the proper values. And all team members would use those read-only scenarios instead of creating new ones.

Re: Define standard parameter for transformation scenarios
Hi,
Maybe one more possibility would be to define your custom ANT build file which sets certain parameters and then calls the DITA OT main build.xml:
https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/ ... -file.html

Re: Define standard parameter for transformation scenarios
hi radu
thanks for sharing your ideas. your first solution came to my mind too. we probably go with this. maybe you could think of an enhancement here? define these standard settings in an XML ...?
bye bye and thanks again.

Re: Define standard parameter for transformation scenarios
Hi Chris,
A framework configuration file (like the original OXYGEN_INSTALLI_DIR\frameworks\dita\dita.framework) is an XML file which has all the read-only predefined transformation scenarios serialized in it. But I do not have a good idea about how to keep separate XML files with the changed parameters.
