Can Oxygen work with the SDL Live Content CCMS?

I have a client who uses DITA with SDL and XMetal, but Oxygen's forms-based authoring capability would be very useful. Will Oxygen work with SDL, like over WebDav or some other method?

Hi,

About half a year ago SDL developed a plugin which can be installed in Oxygen and allows Oxygen to integrate smoothly with the CMS.
So you can ask on their side.

You are right, SDL does have an "authoring bridge" for Oxygen now. Here is an announcement about it that I found:

I got a copy of this bridge from my client. However it's for Oxygen 14 and I am using 15. I used to have 14 but I uninstalled it. Can I download 14 somewhere to use as I develop this? (Of course if I'm lucky it will work with 15)

The Oxygen software archive is here:

But indeed Oxygen 15.x should also work with the bridge, it's probably not tested with it but we haven't intentionally made the API incompatible between 14.x and 15.x.
