Re: XPath Sarch Field Grayed out

The tooltip text: "Can be only used on well-formed XML documents."

But Oxygen says "Document is well formed." and "Document is valid."

XPath Sarch Field Grayed out

Hi, we often have the problem, that the XPath field in the Find/Replace dialog is grayed out in some XML files. Now we have found a problem which is responsible for that: If MathML formulas are included in the document, the Field is grayed out if the namespace declaration is missing in one of the fo...

Plugin - Active DTD/Framework

Hi,

I want to activate certain functions in a workspace plugin only if the current file is using a specific dtd (or a specific framework is activated). Can I get these information without parsing the content by myself?

Thanks,
Patrick

Re: access preferences through API

Hi Radu,

yes, I asked them. Thank you for the response. I have included the MathFlow and the license in a plugin and it works great.

Thank you

Re: access preferences through API

Hi Radu, thats a problem, yes. But we use concurrent licenses in our company and not fixed licenses, so I also have the hostname of the license server. If it's possible to use this settings without a license file, it would be great. But we also have to deploy the MathML SDK separately, so it's not a...

Re: access preferences through API

Thank you! But two more questions: 1.) How it works for author.mathml.mathflow to set the license file path? the configuration structure seems to be different to the single value and addon-settings. 2.) Is it possible to apply the settings directly? Currently I have to restart Oxygen. Or if not, can...

Re: access preferences through API

Hi,

I also try to set and get global preferences and have two questions:

1.) How to set extensions.update.sites through setGlobalObjectProperty? It's a option with multiple entries.

2.) How to get the properties? I did not found a getGlobalObjectProperty function.

Thanks,
Patrick

Re: Xpath in Plugin

Re: Xpath in Plugin

Hi Radu,

thank you, it works now. But another problem: I have tried to add buttons (using the example Workspace Access Plugin) - but the buttons do not have the style like the rest of oxygen. How can I add buttons with the same style which is set in the oxygen preferences?

Xpath in Plugin

Hi,

are there xml/xpath functions in an (document) plugin? I only get text-based functions and need to work with results restricted to xpaths (e.g. fileref-Attributes only from graphics inside figures (figure/graphic/@fileref).

How can I solve this?

Thanks,
Patrick

Re: Extend Add-ons with Transformation Scenario Packages

But we don't want to deploy all transformations in this package, because it's not easy to use anymore if there are hundrets of transformations defined by default. Thanks ...

Global options

Hi, We have many inhouse and external oxygen users. There are some global options like Add-ons URL, Encoding, Editor/Format settings, everyone of them should have set. But I don't want to overwrite all settings with a exported settings file from me. Nice would be if I could define only a view settin...

Re: Plugin - Get Position of selected Element

Ok, the perfect solution would be sth. like this (equal to the navigation tree in Word): Highlight current position (given in outline view) Linked with document on click (given in outline view) Set filter and hide other elements (given in outline view, example sec) Number the structure elements (e.g...

Its the Text mode. In the author mode it's already implemented in the stylesheet but in the text mode such a function would be helpful in our large documents.

I will try it with these methods.

Hi, it should be possible to define an XSL-param as boolean (e.g. if its default value is true()/false() and then display only a checkbox in the parameters window of the transformation scenario instead of writing something in the value field and checking the Xpath-Checkbox. Nice-to-have would also b...

Re: Large Files in Author View

Hi, thanks for your answer. I have an 32bit client only, the maximum memory is not enough to display these XMLs. Re: Values in XPath results as separate column

Hi Radu, Thanks for your answer, but XSLT an XQuery is too difficult or time consuming for most of our users. Therefore it could be very helpful to have the ability to copy plain text from the result pane to get the identical output like the xyquery does. For some users XQuery could be a solution. B...

Re: Values in XPath results as separate column

Hi,
is there an option to copy all unshortened values from the result pane without the additional information?

Example: Searching for all title in a document and get a list into the clipboard which contains the whole content of one title per line?

Thanks,

Lock opened files

Hi,

is there a possibility to add a "lock" to opened files, so other users get a warning if there also try to open/edit an already opened file? This would be very useful if files are stored on a network share without a versioning system and multiple users have to edit them.

Thanks
