Customizable code formatting
Currently the control over code formatting isn't as tweakable as I'd like in Oxygen. I was working on a project the other day when I suddenly had an epiphany: rule-based formatting! Duh! It makes perfect sense. When I found myself wishing for a way to automate formatting of my code, I initially thou...

Custom "New Project" Layouts
I would love it if the standalone version of Oxygen provided for some automated tasks when creating a new project (such as creating a skeleton of a directory hierarchy, or automatically adding the blue "Project" folders to commonly used locations on disk). Currently I'm picturing something...

Smarter "Select Project to Open"?
I think it would be really, really helpful if Oxygen kept track of the locations of my *.xpr files for me, so that when I click "Open Project…", rather than having to deal with the filesystem I would be presented with a list of all the Oxygen Projects in the user domain. Currently, I use...

Re: Code completion in XSL editor
Okay. Thank you for the clarification! I just got another idea that may be more useful than a "Duplicate" button: rather than selecting the editor from a dropdown list, what about providing a list of checkboxes for each editor? That would save the user from a lot of duplicate-then-edit ted...

Code completion in XSL editor
So, I have a number of "Code Templates" in Preferences⇨Editor⇨Templates⇨Code Templates. These templates are for all of my frequently-used namespaces. In the prefs dialog I set them to "XML editor", because namespaces are portable (one of their chief purposes they were inven...

Re: vCards in XML
Yeah, probably two of the most common things modeled in software are people calendars / time These are often represented as vCards and vCalendar/iCalendar, respectively. Although the official specs are not in XML, they are often stored as RDF/XML for interoperability. I don't think it's exaggerating...

Unable to scroll in some Preferences panes
I've got a screenshot: http://tony.gonk.net/images/screenshot_oxygenScrollingIssue.png As you can see, there's no way to scroll down to see the rest of the preferences on the right. The windows was resized to the maximum allowable vertically and there was still not sufficient space to get to the end...

Support for Bazaar VCS
I would love it if Oxygen supported (or had a plugin for) the sexy, well-thought-out, version-control-system Bazaar (http://bazaar-vcs.org).
(No, I don't work for them, I just think it's interesting, and it maintains "backwards compatibility" with SVN, so why not?)

Re: Support for SQLite DB
Hmm. I downloaded from the link you provided (thank you!), and I think the right place for the files to live are [path to OXYGEN]/lib/connectors/ . Is this correct? If so, I put the files in this directory, but I noticed no change in the Data Source "Type" field. I know you said it is simi...

Generate XSL templates from XML or schema
Oxygen currently has some handy abilities to generate schemas and documentation. However, I've often wondered if there is a way to generate a skeleton XSL file from an XML source document or schema. This would be REALLY useful, because it would allow people to take advantage of XML in circumstances ...

Support for SQLite DB
I'd like to request support for the SQLite Database for database exploring. In my opinion it's the unsung hero of database types. It's extremely small and efficient, and performs very well. I don't know for certain, but I would also guess that its lightweight footprint makes it a better candidate fo...

Thank you. :) Damn. I was afraid that was the case. Relax NG XML syntax isn't bad, and isn't off-limits for any technical reason. I'm just using RNG Compact for easy of writing & reading. I love what XML can do, but all those pointy angular brackets sure do get to be a burden on the eyes, someti...

Oxygen, Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard), and Spaces
I love Oxygen, and I love OS X. So this issue makes me very sad. :( When I uses Spaces on OS 10.5 ("Leopard"), I often ⌘-Tab between applications. If I am working in Oxygen and I ⌘-Tab to another program, it works just fine. But if I am in another program and I ⌘-Tab to Oxygen, it does not...

I thought of another way to write my last codeblock that might make slightly more sense (though still invalid :( ): Courses = element courses { ( attribute dept {text}, Course = element course {course.attlist - attribute dept} ) | Course+ } Course = element course { course.attlist } course.attlist =...

Thanks. :o However, I was looking to utilize one of Relax NG Compact's abilities to redefine elements. Things that should be simple
If you're looking for simple, than I recommend ditching XML Schema. :) Relax NG is much more writable AND readable, and Relax NG Compact even moreso. Take a look here and see how easy it is to read these schemas: http://relaxng.org/compact-tutorial-20030326.html And no functionality is lost. Using O...

Need help with Relax NG Compact schema
I'm trying to write a Relax NG Compact schema. RNC syntax is an absolute dream compared to XSD, and I like it better than regular RNG, too. But I'm trying to do something that's a little tricky. I'm trying to write a schema that defines the elements <courses> and <course>. Basically, I want to be ab...

Hello, I'm new to RelaxNG, and I love both the normal and the compact version. I'm using the compact version for now because it's…well, compact! Yep. I forgot to mention that I'm performing the transformation using an Ant buildfile. XInclude works fine using Oxygen's built-in Transform feature, but XInclude is not functional when performing the transformation with Ant (which works just fine otherwise). Using Ant v1.7 (latest from fink). I di...

Xinclude a document with a different namespace
Okay, I have a Docbook 5 RC5 file that validates. Inside this document I have an XInclude element that references another XML document. This second document, however, has a different namespace and element structure. This document has a custom schema that I wrote. After some searching I added the xi:...
