Re: Searching Across Topics in Content Fusion
Thanks Gabriel, That's a very helpful workaround! It's not perfect, because if I'm searching and making changes as well, I have to keep going back and forth between the combined view and the edit view for individual topics. But at least your workaround makes it possible to do a combined search, and ...

Searching Across Topics in Content Fusion
It appears that the Search feature in Content Fusion only searches within the currently open topic. When someone has sent me a large number of topics to review, it would be very useful if I could do a search through all the topics. Thanks.

In-Topic Display of Relationship Links
Hi, It would be very helpful if the editing pane in Author mode would include a display of the relationship table links that will render for that topic when a transform is run. Because the links really reside in the ditamap, the display in Author mode would have to be a read-only region, probably hi...

Affected Ditamaps Panel
To help manage reuse, and promote communication between writers, it would be awesome if Oxygen XML Author could include an "Affected Ditamaps Panel." For whatever topic is currently open in the editing pane, this panel would instantly list all ditamaps that use that topic, directly or indi...

Warn that a File Being Moved/Renamed Will Not Be Refactored
1. Although I have Master Files enabled, I recently cut and pasted a graphic in the Project pane to a different folder, and Oxygen didn't update links to the graphic. It appears that the graphic in question was not part of any DITA map hierarchy, although it was used by some orphan topics. In a case...

Re: Refactoring > Move Resource for Multiple Files
We had success with Radu's suggestion. One of my colleagues created a plugin that uses XSLT to output files containing all the topics and images used in the DITA map hierarchy. Then we are able to cut and paste these into the filter in the Project pane and move the files easily. Thanks again for you...

Re: Refactoring > Move Resource for Multiple Files
Thanks Sorin and Radu, I'm going to try out your suggestions tomorrow. I'll post again when I've had a chance to experiment. Also, I appreciate your adding my vote to the new feature request for refactoring multiple files.

Refactoring > Move Resource for Multiple Files
Hi, We're using Oxygen Author with Sourcetree. We have about 10,000 topics that are in incorrect folders, and we want to move them to different folders without breaking links. Is there any safe way to do this except by selecting each topic one by one in the Project pane and doing Refactoring > Move ...

Re: Split a Table in Two
Thanks Radu! The new code works very well. The only quirk that I see is for table cells that are vertically merged. If I split a table in a way that bisects a vertically merged cell, then afterwards the topic validation shows the errors "A cell is spanning on more rows than available in its par...

Re: Split a Table in Two
Thanks, Radu! I got the split table action installed. One side effect: After I split the table, the following syntax error appears for the new one: Element with duplicate ID "table_r4f_4k3_sgb" found in the same topic context. Also, as you mentioned, it would be nice if the action would du...

Re: Split a Table in Two
Thanks, Radu. I started following the directions and hit a snag in Step 5 of https://blog.oxygenxml.com/2016/10/customizing-dita-visual-editing.html: "Give a custom name to the extension, for example DITA - Custom and then change its Storage to external, then save it to a path like: path/to/......

Re: Split a Table in Two
Thanks, Radu. Since you ask, I think it would be nice if the header gets duplicated for the new table. That would save me having to copy and paste the header to the new table.

Re: Improve Spellcheck for Multiple Files
Hi Radu,
I tried "Open Map in editor with resolved topics", and while it is useful for learning new words, it doesn't seem to let me correct any actual misspellings in that mode. So my original feature request would still be an improvement. Thanks.

Split a Table in Two
It would be really great if you could right-click in a row in a table and choose "Split Table." The table would be split into two tables, with the division occurring before the current row. A lot of authoring tools provide a feature like this. Thanks.

Re: Improve Spellcheck for Multiple Files
Thanks, Radu. The "Open Map in editor with resolved topics" approach sounds like it would work very well. For some large books, the custom dictionary approach might be worthwhile too.

Improve Spellcheck for Multiple Files
I've been launching "Check Spelling in Files" from the DITA Map Manager. It's a useful feature, but one thing about it is frustrating. The list of misspelled words is frozen in time, and you have to open the affected topics one at a time. This means that if there is a particular word that ...

Re: Do Content Fusion Tasks Expire?
Sorry, I just found the answer to my question. I found one of the review tasks that I could finalize, and after that, a "Show finalized review tasks" prompt appeared at the end of My Tasks. Clicking this successfully showed the task that I had finalized.

Re: Do Content Fusion Tasks Expire?
Thanks, Cristi. In My Tasks, I don't see any finalized review tasks. Not sure if this means I don't have any. When you say "This list is hidden by default," do you mean there should be a heading that I can click to expand the list, or that there is a setting option somewhere that I have to...

Do Content Fusion Tasks Expire?
I was just looking through my list of Content Fusion tasks, and didn't see quite as many as I expected, and none more than four months old. It is possible that I am just confused, but I just want to check whether old review tasks ever expire? Or do they always stay around until you explicitly delete...

Continuous Page Numbering
Hi, We're customizing the CSS for the table of contents for PDF output, and I notice that the page numbering is not working how we would like. We want the pages in the book to be numbered continuously from the title page to the end. So our page footers throughout the book use the following for the p...

Re: Headers/Footers for Backmatter, Not Frontmatter

Thanks!

Re: Headers/Footers for Backmatter, Not Frontmatter
Hi Dan, I've been trying to set up styles for an amendments topic in the backmatter, but something's not working. In the ditamap, the topic appears as follows: <backmatter> <amendments href="../topics/document_revision_history_imm_registry_cfg_5_9_3_1c89200f966e2c6fc115aefceb396acc.dita" t...
