Re: Oxygen frameworks directory structure…?

Hello, Oxygen comes bundled with a variety of open source frameworks: - DITA Open Toolkit - DocBook XSL + OASIS DocBook XML Schema - Office Open XML - etc These frameworks are each structured differently because they are kept in the original form(as much as possible) found in the open source project...

Re: Custom "New Project" Layouts

Hi, I've found the feature request logged on our issue tracking tool. The good news is it has been discussed and decided to be a useful feature, so it will eventually be implemented. The bad news is it has been pushed back a few times and it's possible that it will be pushed back again. Regards, Adr...

Re: Editor function to find the closing tag??

Hello,

The action you're looking for is "Go to Matching Tag"(Ctrl+Shift+G) found in the contextual menu(exactly as you thought but never checked). This action jumps alternatively between the start and end tag.

Re: Corrupt display when viewing inserted images in Author view

Hello, This problem could be a JRE compatibility issue. Have you tried installing and running the Linux distribution of Oxygen with built-in JRE? You can find it in our software archive: http://www.oxygenxml.com/software_archive_editor.html Linux 32/64 bit (Includes Java VM 1.6.0_16) Choose the kit ...

Hello, Currently(v12) this form of leasing a floating license is not supported by Oxygen or its license server. We have had a few similar requests for this so I've added a feature request to our issue tracking tool. This will be analyzed and implemented in a future version of Oxygen. I don't see a p...

Could you please disable the Compiz effects and check if the problem still reproduces in Oxygen?

Re: Timeout accessing documents in eXist

In this case the problem is not the timeout value. The eXist libraries were updated in Oxygen v12 to accommodate eXist 1.5. Unfortunately these libraries are not backwards compatible with eXist 1.2, so this version is no longer supported. The documentation doesn't mention this limitation, so we'll h...

Re: Code Completion/Validation Issues

Hello, The XQuery editor uses an XQuery engine for validation. You must have already manually set this engine to Saxon-EE XQuery(in Options -> Preferences -> XML -> XSLT-FO-XQuery -> XQuery, Engine used for XQuery validation) or you wouldn't have got as far as the error you are reporting. By default...

Hello, What version of eXist are you currently using with Oxygen? Oxygen v12 introduced experimental support for eXist 1.5. You can adjust the timeout value for HTTP connections(which also affects the eXist connection timeout) in: Options -> Preferences -> HTTP(S)/(S)FTP/Proxy Configuration -> Advan...

Hello, What version of Oxygen did you use before updating to v12.1? Do you still have or could you install the old version of Oxygen side by side with 12.1 and check if it still behaves in the same way in the old version? Hello, No, I'm afraid this hasn't been implemented yet. And there isn't a fixed release schedule for this feature either. Re: Where are the desktop icons and menus?

Hi,
But if I install Oxygen as a regular user, can I install to /opt?
No, unfortunately you can't.
Installing as a regular user is the recommended way of installing Oxygen, especially if a single user is using Oxygen on that machine.

Re: Where are the desktop icons and menus?

Hello, The Oxygen installer only creates symlinks and desktop icons for the user under which you are running it. Since the installer was ran as root it attempted to create them in /root. If there is a /root/Desktop folder then you will find the .desktop icon files for Oxygen there. If there's no Des...

Re: new element format

Hello,

I'm afraid that there is no option in Oxygen that can accomplish this, not when first introducing the element and neither when formatting the document.

You could probably write an extension(Oxygen plugin) that does this automatically for you.
