Re: Changing the Related Link order - "topic name "on page" "page number"
Hi, Unfortunately this would probably require an XSLT customization. In the XSLT stylesheet: OXYGEN_INSTALL_DIR\frameworks\dita\DITA-OT2.x\plugins\org.dita.pdf2\xsl\fo\links.xsl if you search for the first occurrence of the "insertPageNumberCitation" template, it gets called after the refe...

Re: Using DITA variables in XSLT Scenario
Hi Dirk, Please see some answers below: While this XSLT might later end up in a customized DITA OT, I currently just launch it via a project specific XSLT scenario. Looking below, indeed your XSLT at least looks like a possible DITA Open Toolkit plugin because it would have access to some of the stu...

Hi,
If you set the attribute xml:lang="ja-JP" on the main DITA root map, the publishing engine should correctly use Japanese to translate static texts in the PDF. Otherwise you may also need to set the attribute on each topic.

Radu

Re: Invoke "Compare Files" from XSLT Scenario
Hi Dirk, So what you are probably doing is using XSLT as a way to fix up certain problems in an XML, right? Maybe you should take a look at our refactoring operations support which allow you to define custom refactoring stylesheets and also offer a preview when applying the operation on a set of fol...

Re: PDFs are not comparable with Acrobat Pro (tag problem?)
Hi, Oxygen 18.0 comes with the latest Apache FOP 2.1. So if you are using an older version of Oxygen, you should try to see if the latest Apache FOP bundled with 18.0 can handle the accessibility tag. If not... probably a bug in Apache FOP, possibly something which is related to your actual content....

Re: Duplicated topics with Reltable Not Outputting Correctly in Webhelp
Hi Danielle,
Please try to come up with a small DITA Project exhibiting the problem and send it to us. The DITA Open Toolkit publishing engine has some bugs related to chunking but maybe we could find a workaround once we can analyze an example.

Re: Fast switching between audience profiles
Hi Gabor, Exactly as you say. I would want to use keys C, S, M, A and let's say B to quickly access the profiles after pressing alt-d and x, but S and C are already taken by two of the menu options above and M is distributed to the second profile (instead of the third one which would be my preferenc...

Re: Flagging using specialized conditional attributes
Hi, Oxygen 17.1 and newer comes with two DITA Open Toolkit publishing engines bundled. You can configure in the Preferences-> DITA page which one should be used. With DITA OT 1.8 I can flag paragraphs which use a specialization props attribute but indeed from what I tested with DITA OT 2.x flagging ...

Hi Gabor, About this remark: Also, relying on existing shortcut options is not really easy: I can quickly access DITA - > Profiling/Conditional Text by pressing alt+d and x, but then there is no way I can set up sensible keyboard shortcuts to quickly access any of my five users. Re: PDFs are not comparable with Acrobat Pro (tag problem?)
Hi Ben, I'm not sure how to help as there does not seem to be a document somewhere stating how the PDFs should be formatted internally in order for the comparison to work. Maybe you could write to Adobe and try to get some guidelines from them. The Apache FOP PDF processor has a configuration file: ...

Re: HTML to DITA conversion using the built-in h2d plugin
Hi, This processing is not related to Oxygen in any way, indeed the DITA OT bundled with Oxygen comes bundled with this h2d plugin which can be used to convert XHTML files to DITA but you can also have an external DITA OT with the same plugin installed. Ideally you would open in Oxygen the build fil...

Re: Tokens for terminology?
Hi, Oxygen has an SDK which is free to use: https://www.oxygenxml.com/oxygen_sdk.html and it has enough API so that a third party could implement a plugin which based on the changes made in the document would contact an external server and propose various choices. So if you have a Java developer and...

Hi Patrik,
Using our Workspace Access Plugin extension API you can contribute custom views so you could contribute a custom view to the south of the application with your own Swing component in it.

Re: abbreviated-form of the glossentry inside glossgroup
Hi, In my opinion you cannot use "abbreviated-form" elements to refer to glossentry elements inside glossgroups. Why this? According to the specification: https://docs.oasis-open.org/dita/v1.2/os/spec/common/thekeyrefattribute.html the value of the keyref attribute is a key name, a solidus...

Hi Kate,
Usually in XSLT (and thus also in XPaths used in Schematron) to check for an empty element you use this XPath expression:
meaning that it has no children and no significant non-whitespace text.

Hi,

Re: Open With -> External Tool -> [tool spec]?
Hi Riley,
Thanks for the feedback, you are not the only one with this kind of use case so we'll try to look into this.
Another possibility would have been to have specific editor variables like "${currentSelectedProjectFile}" which can be used when defining external tools.

Hi Patrik,
Could you tell me more about how the framework is using that extension that it references in the classpath?
Does it have a transformation scenario which uses it or does it use some Schematron schema?
Do you have some custom Java code which installs the extension?

If we change this on our side so that 1-2 text lines above the searched text remain visible, would that be OK?
