Re: oXygen too small appearance
Hi, Which distribution of 22.1 are you using (Java 8 or OpenJDK 14)? See in Help > About, System properties, java.version. For the 32" monitor, what resolution and scaling settings do you have set in Windows? If you're using Java 8, to force a larger scaling setting create a file named 'custom_...

Re: Problem viewing XSL transformation results
Hi, Reset layout always fixes this issue, if it doesn't, try maximizing the Oxygen main window first. If it still doesn't, go to Options > Preferences > Application Layout and select Default. Or better yet, press the "Restore defaults" button from that option page. Restart Oxygen and try a...

Hi, Please note that v17.1 has reached its end of life and is no longer maintained or supported. as long as I don't select any document from the dropdown, the debugger controls remain greyed out and I cannot step into the first instruction. Is this a bug or did I oversee some configuration option? T...

Re: Custom XSLT validation
Hi, What my colleague provided is for validation of XML against a schema. For validation of XSLT there is a problem to achieve the same because Saxon 9.4 and later have dropped the compile stylesheet facility for the command line. This was possible in Saxon 9.2 and probably 9.3 via: java -cp path\to...

Re: Cleaning up huge project (xpr) Lucene index files.
Hi, You can safely delete either individual folders (each is for a project) from: /Users/(username)/Library/Preferences/com.oxygenxml/lucene or even the entire lucene folder. Make sure Oxygen isn't running when you do this. If you want Oxygen to stop indexing the files from projects, go to Options >...

Re: Installation dialog box
Hello, That looks like a Look and Feel or font issue between Oracle Java SE 8 (bundled with the installer) and Fedora/Gnome. Perhaps the font that the installer tries to use is not available on the system, or there's some font rendering issue. We test the Oxygen installers with Ubuntu LTS versions (...

Re: Build Oxygen Floating License Server on AWS EC2
Hi, The machine signature for the standard activation is calculated at the time when the license server is started and takes into account all NICs connected at that time . If you connect or disconnect a NIC, the machine signature changes, so, if the license server is restarted, it will report a mach...

Re: Build Oxygen Floating License Server on AWS EC2
Hello, When you run licenseServer.sh/.bat, it checks if a file named passwords.properties exists in that folder. If the file does not exist, it proceeds to interactively ask for the usernames and passwords and then creates that file with the provided info. So, what you can do is to run the script ma...

I can't tell in what way this relates to Oxygen.
Could you please be more specific for what kind of Oxygen transformation and/or output is this?

Re: Find/Replace in Files for Multiple Lines in an XML file
Hi, You can use \n in the "Text to find" box to indicate a new line or \s for any whitespace (line breaks, tabs and spaces). The "Regular expression" box is required in this case. So, if you really want to do this via Find/Replace in Files you should search for: ^\s*\Qline1\E\s*\...

Hi,
I suspected it was SharePoint, but this doesn't change much, other than that the permissions are in the SharePoint site.
Can you manually create a file of a similar name (as the3 temporary one) there in the same folder, and then delete it?
Regards,
Adrian

Re: Custom JDK options , how to make them default to be picked up by the app
Regarding the .app files, this is undocumented but install4j provides this out-of-the-box. You can create a file named "vmoptions.txt" (similar to the .vmoptions files, one argument per line) and copy this file to the .app/Contents folder. This only works on a per app basis. If you want to...

Hello, If you have added them to the env.sh/env.bat files, then they are picked up by all other .bat/.sh scripts. I'm afraid env.sh/env.bat cannot be made to be used with the .app/.exe launchers. .app and .exe launchers work differently. The .exe launchers have a corresponding .vmoptions file. If yo...
