Copyright Page

I've been trying to figure out how to make a copyright page print on the obverse side (left page) of the title page of a PDF, with some text--which could be hard-coded in the front-matter_1.0.xsl file if necessary, or wherever, you know, in the custom.xsl file presumably using code from that front-m...

Re: Customizing Headers and Footers

The missing piece of information, which I found after digging further on my own, and which is not mentioned as far as I can tell in the documentation or in any of these forum discussions, is very simple, and here it is for posterity. You set up text-based information, like company name, for i...

Customizing Headers and Footers

I've combed through this forum for details on how to modify the footer or header of a PDF and seen the suggestion repeated that one go to one of the other DITA or XML forums for specifics. I've been to the main site recommended, but the information there is usually about the DITA-OT and not oXygen. ...

Re: DITA to PDF Customization

Never mind! It worked. I thought I had uncommented the correct line in the catalog.xml file, but it was still commented. When I uncommented it, the graphic appeared.

Thanks,

Re: DITA to PDF Customization

After a hiatus, I'm trying again to add a company logo to the title page of a PDF using the help topic devoted to that subject ("DITA to PDF Output Customization"). I have gone through the steps as detailed in the help, but no logo on title page. Here is the text the help topic suggests to...

DITA to PDF Customization

I am trying to customize the appearance of my PDF output. In the help topic titled "DITA to PDF Customization," a procedure is presented for customizing the custom.xsl file in the Customization folder. In this procedure, steps 5 and 6 state: 5. Rename the file: C:\Customization\fo\xsl\cust...

Re: Author default view settings

Ooh, wait. Rereading your answer, I think I may have misunderstood. I'm not sure how to cause an alternative css file to import the values of the default. Could you clarify? All I did was make changes to the file and save them under a different name.

Re: Author default view settings

George, Thanks for your reply. A follow-up question. I've done what you've suggested for creating an alternative css file, called task_ndo.css, in which I've included the changes I wanted to be reflected. I've placed it in the same directory with task.css. Now, how do I specify that that file be use...

Author default view settings

Hi, I'm evaluating oXygen Author currently and enjoying many of its features. However, a couple of things have me confused that the documentation and, as far I can tell, the UI do not address. 1) I want DITA documents to open by default in show-all-tags view. I do not see a way to effect this in Pre...
