Re: Drag-and-drop links from DITA Maps Manager

Currently I'm using the exact same workaround you suggested, but it takes more time and doesn't create correct relative URLs if the two files are not in the same folder. To take this feature further, if the user has <p>See chapter </p> And you drag the topicref to the character position after the wo...

Drag-and-drop links from DITA Maps Manager

Use case: 1. User has DITA Maps Manager and a DITA document open in Text mode. 2. User creates an xref element in the DITA document, and adds an empty href attribute. 3. User drags a topic from Maps Manager to the href attribute 4. Oxygen fills in the href attribute with the value of the dragged top...

Increased memory consumption in Oxygen 10.1

Oxygen version: 10.1
Platform: OS X 10.5.6, Java 1.6

Is it just me, or does Oxygen 10.1 consume more memory than 10.0? I haven't measured this, but I work with the same size files/projects as before and now I've started to get out of memory error messages.

Sounds like a solution that might work. I tested this with DITA paragraphs with conref attribute and that's another case where the attribute probably not be copied on split.

You could also add option to select whether to output BOM or not, so that the status bar would be something like:

Is there a way to change the line separator and encoding of a text file being edited? There are global preferences for these, but can they be changed per file?
