I asked around on IRC, and someone was so kind to look after it, since he remembered having seen something in the code. However, he is not sure, whether this is actually what I was asking him for. org.eclipse.jface.text.TextViewer.getEmptySelectionChangedEventDelay() He also offered a link: http://d...

This is WindowsXP Pro SP2. You can activate Sun-Mouse via Registry. I used TweakUI, but X-Setup can activate it also. This is simple activate window on hover, no window to front stuff set.

I will come back, as soon as I can describe a sequence.

Yes, you are right. Some things are not project-specific.Thanks for consideration.

It was *very* *nice* btw, to see, that the license key and also some project-stuff got synchromized with the stand-alone version, which I installed today. Very nice package, you created.

I do not really have to. But it makes things more comfortable. Imagine a case, where you have a node in the source XML with a lot of attributes, that is deeply nested (I work on ODF). It is very important to have a good look at the source when creating the xslt, I need to do it often. It would just ...

How to support other Markup Languages ?

I would like to have oXygen fully support

Directory Services Markup Language (DSML) v2.0 [OASIS 200201]

Are there any steps I need to accomplish in order to do so ?

P.S.: This is especially annoying, since it takes a little time, till all views have reacted to the renewal of activation of a window.

However, the problem described above does not happen continuosly. It sometimes happens, sometimes not. Difficult to reproduce.

Eclipse: Sync XSLT-Input and Attributes

I like to use the XSLT-Input View in order to get an overview of the originating XML file I am writing a transformer for. However, by times, it might be interesting to have a full view on the attributes and values of a node I inspect in the XSLT-Input view. The way to do it now is to change the edit...

Eclipse: Make use of the local (project-specific) settings.E

Eclipse allows to set preferences locally, to a project.

Menu: Project -> Properties.

Not many plugins use this, sadly, oXygen being no exception. It would be nice, if oXygen settings could be set as per project also, having the global settings as default for locals.

Eclipse: Configuration of Hover start-time ?

Eclipse is pretty quick to give hovers. In certain situations this is very nice, in others not. With oXygen I have the problem, that the hovers under the mouse-pointer appear so quick, that it is already striking my nerves. Sometimes one believes, that the hover is the one desired, since the mouse h...

Eclipse: Loss of window focus with Sun-style mouse

When window-activation is set to "automatically activate window under mouse-pointer" (AKA: Sun-Mouse, X-Mouse), then there is a very quick loss of the editor window focus, as soon a pop-up (hover) message occurs in the editor. This means, that often the editor is becoming inactive just rig...

P.S. It might be interesting in this case, to visually show the user, that the view is toggled. Not sure, how this could be done, but it would need to be something, that is clearly visible, like another background-color of the according view (or other window background-color).

Eclipse: Lock of Attributes/Outline Views

In the debugger, when having two editors open (the source and the transformer), it sometimes is relevant to move around in either document. Now, when I have an outline view open, or an attributes-view, they are being updated according to the active editor. It would be very nice to have the possibili...

Eclipse: XSLT Input-View Double-Klick for SourceJump

It would be nice to have oXygen open the according XML source, that is being displayed in the XSLT-Input view when I double-click at a node, and jump to the right location. Thanks for reading.

Than you very much. What about some view, that shows in realtime the position we are at within an XML file, using a valid XSLT select expression ? This would ideally be a listview, that alllows for a checkmark to be set next to each entry. The checkmark would remember the expression (and this the pl...

It would be nice to be able to copy the full XPath to the place, where the cursor is, including attributes, instead for only the current element node.

Licensing / New Release (esp.: Eclipse)

Hi, my evaluation period ended tonight. I would like to license your software academic/home. Now I am not completly sure, as what I want to do. As far as I understood a single license entitles to all updates of v7.x, requiering either an update or a floating update license to jump to 8.x So, my ques...

Differences between Stand-Alone and Eclipse

Hi,

as I see, there are quite some differences between the stand-alone edition and the Eclipse plugin. Wouldn't it be nice to see a feature-matrix on your web-page comparing these two versions and mark those features, that are going to get ported to the eclipse-plugin in the future ? :P

Thanks.
