Nested lists in DocBook document

Hello Everyone, if itemized list (bulleted) is child of numbered list (ordered), in Author mode there are numbers instead of bullets displayed before each listitem member. If it is used vice-versa, it seems to be Ok. Is proper displaying a technical problem or it can be fixed somehow? Thanks in adva...

Outline palette tree

Hello Everyone,

just detail, but if outline palette tree is expanded to some extent, if Comments/Processing Instructions button is pressed, entire tree is collapsed. I think such behaviour is unwanted. It would be nice to keep the tree untouched, only to show/hide given info.

Do not expand folded element on drag & drop in Author mode

Hello Everyone, if two following sections has to be swapped, there can be used several methods to achieve this - drag&drop in outline palette, copy & paste in Author mode, but one could also suppose that folding of these two sections in Author mode and drag & drop will help. Unfortunatel...

Re: Splitting document window in Author mode

Ok, thanks for the reference. And what about two new Tile vertically/ horizontally functions, which would automaticaly do what has to be done manually, i.e. dividing working area into individual blocks with evenly distributed widths/heights for all opened documents? Plus one function for 'untiling'....

Attribute setting behaviour

Hello Everyone, if Attribute pallete is used for setting values of attributes, it is necessary to double click on appropriate row. If given row is left, even if no value is set this attribute is added to the current element. I would change this behaviour to activate these fields on single mouse clic...

Re: Splitting document window in Author mode

Hello, I've just found I am wrong in uderstanding what Split function do. It splits single document into two windows, hmm, I've overlooked it in Text mode. What I really want are tiles - to be able to display two files side by side (vertically or horizontally). As I've mentioned, I do it now manuall...

Re: Versioning files ala NetBeans

Hello, I dont't share your doubt it will be hard to orient in these warning colors. In documentation shouldn't be too much errors :-) and revisions as suggested would be marked as box at the beginning of line (+ beside-scroll-bar area), not as text underline. Of course, it could be option with possi...

Splitting document window in Author mode

Hello, is it on purpose that icons Undo/Redo/Paste disappear every time focus is set to Outline view of Author mode? If focus is set to the text (document area), icons are back. Re: Workspace autosaving in Oxygen Author

Behaviour you are describing is different in my case. After launch of app the workspace is the same like just after install. Any custom change is not stored. It is strange, but probably relative only to my OS. Datails are below: apple.awt.showGrowBox true apple.awt.window.position.forceSafeCreation ...

Workspace autosaving in Oxygen Author

Hello Everyone,

if in OE9 there are rearranged toolbars or palletes, this setting is stored for next run. But this doesn't work in Oxygen Author 10 trial version. All changes in GUI are discarded on close. Is it bug or limitation of trial? Vista 32bit is used in my case.

Displaying tags in Author mode inline (more compact)

Hello Everyone, I've set on tags in Author mode, but my DocBook document is quite diffused in this case so on my screen I see very small part of it. I have recent experience with XMetal and its displaying of tags I would prefer. For example lists - itemized/ordered - in Oxygen there is extra line fo...

Default view settings in Oxygen Author

Hello Everyone, in my OE9 there is settings Editor|Open/Save|Open XML in|Text/Grid/Author. I can't find this option in OA10 so it is impossible to store default view. Every time my docbook file is opened in text mode, while better would be Author mode. Is there any way how to achieve this? Thanks. Jan

Global replace of regexp to upper case

I have documents containing extensions specified as .xml, .csv etc what I would like to replace with XML, CSV ...
I can find appropriate occurencies using regexp ' \.([A-Za-z]{3})' and replace them using ' $1' keyword. Is there any way how to convert the result into upper case?

Re: Formatting the element content if preserving of white spaces

Thanks for quick reply. I've tested it but without success - it seems like the same bahaviour as using 'pre' value. Switching from visual to source mode keeps line not wrapped, but after Format function it still gets wrapped. I hope we understand one to another.
