Clicking "Add [table] Column After" can break XHTML structure
For oXygen XML Editor 18, Windows 7 64-bit. IF I use oXygen to create a new XHTML file, AND insert a table into that file, AND in Author mode, in the table's rightmost column, I click Insert a new table column after... , THEN the inserted column inserts a misplaced <col /> tag into the XHTML. This r...

Re: Find All, choose color of highlight in XML editor (Graphite them)
I just wanted to let you know that we have changed the default color for find highlights in graphite theme, in Oxygen 18. Thanks for the follow-up. If possible without a lot of effort, what's the new default? I ask because I have quite a few customized settings, and am afraid that restoring my sett...

Re: Preferences: "Line wrap" should NOT affect "Highlight curren
Oxygen 18.0 should now allow the "Highlight current line" to work also with soft line wrap checked. Yes it does -- and it works BEAUTIFULLY! Christmas has come early this year. With Editor -> Text -> Line Wrap enabled, oXygen XML 18 highlights the portion of the wrapped line that contains...

Provide toolbar icon for Editor -> Whitespaces
------ For oXygen XML Editor 17.1. It would be handy if I could add a button / icon to the toolbar to toggle Preferences -> Editor -> Whitespaces on and off. I'm working with some XML elements that contain a lot of freeform text. As part of configuring the associated XSL, I want to take a quick peek...

Re: OpenFind Resource finds when but not xsl:when?

I finally found the special characters information via the URL to the Apache Lucene search syntax page at the top of this oXygen XML Editor 17.1 online help (OLH) page: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/17.1/ug-editor/#topics/using-open-find-resources.html I added a comment to t...

Re: OpenFind Resource finds when but not xsl:when?
Ohhhhh -- I just figured out the answer to my own question. Evidently the Open/Find Resource text entry area by default uses REGEX search syntax(?) So I escaped the colon character in xsl:when so that my search read xsl\:when . Shazzam -- results galore! Cheers & hope this helps somebody else, R...

OpenFind Resource finds when but not xsl:when?
------ For oXygen XML Editor 17.1. Why is it that I can use Open/Find Resource to find the word when by itself but NOT xsl:when ? ■ If I type the word when by itself I immediately get results. The results include the word when when it is appended to xsl: . ■ If I modify that search to xsl:when , I g...

Documentation: Expand info for Logical Folders
For oXygen XML Editor 17.1 I'm a relative oXygen 17 newbie who has encountered the concept of Logical Folders via wanting to apply an XSL Transformation Scenario to multiple XML files: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/17.1/ug-editor/#tasks/apply-batch-transformation.html ONE - I think it would...

Possible to use embedded stylesheet in Transformation Scenario?

Re: Preferences: "Line wrap" should NOT affect "Highlight curren
I'd like to point out that this (highlighting only one physical line in a soft-wrapped line) is the default behaviour of several editors on the Mac, including BBEdit/TextWrangler and IntelliJ IDEA. Also, from a visual and logical point of view, highlighting only the physically active line makes it ...

Set up Transformation Scenario with linked stylesheet?

My XML file contains the following statement:...

IF I do a a Find All, oXygen XML 17.1 highlights matches with a medium-gray background color. I would like to be ab...

Re: Preferences: "Line wrap" should NOT affect "Highlight curren
Actually I re-checked and it's only jEdit that works the way I want it to. I use jEdit so much that it became my "normal". 8^p BUT the essential point remains that in oXygen, IF in Preferences —> Editor —> Edit modes —> Text I select Line wrap , THEN oXygen 17 disables Highlight current li...

Re: Preferences: "Line wrap" should NOT affect "Highlight curren
I still would really like to see this changed (dare I say fixed?). Is not the reason to highlight a line in an editor to aid navigation as in, "Where am I in this file?" When the editor is configured to wrap long lines it's more helpful from a navigational perspective to highlight in the e...

Re: Preferences: "Line wrap" should NOT affect "Highlight cu
Adrian: With regard to gVim's or jEdit's line highlighting, I believe they do it right by doing it simply. In those editors, if line wrap is on, and the insertion point (a.k.a cursor) is somewhere within that wrapped line, then only the portion of the wrapped line containing the insertion point is h...

Re: Preferences: "Line wrap" should NOT affect "Highlight cu
@Adrian: Thanks for the quick reply. I'll mention in passing that two open source editors that I use — gVim and jEdit — do support highlighting of wrapped lines. Depending on how a structured text file is put together, those editors' highlighting of wrapped lines can sometimes become visually confus...

Preferences: "Line wrap" should NOT affect "Highlight curren
For oXygen XML Editor 16. In Preferences , in Editor —> Edit Modes —> Text , selecting Line wrap disables Highlight current line . I wish the two weren't forcibly interconnected in that way. I'm generally able to work with Line wrap cleared (not selected). But if I for some reason choose to long lin...
