Git plugin - "Cannot pull with rebase because of the following uncommitted files"

Hi all, We are heavily using the Git plugin in Oxygen. We've switched from merge pulls to rebase pulls to simplify the commit graph, and it's been great! The only wrinkle is that sometimes users get an error: Cannot pull with rebase because of the following uncommitted files: But it didn't always ha...

Re: How to prevent line breaks with "codeblock"?

Thanks for the info. Now I'm having a difficult time trying to identify which ".css" file to add this code snippet. Is there a default .css that Oxygen uses for PDF? Or do I need to create a new custom .css for PDF? To get started, you can create a my.css file in the root of your project directory ...

DITA-OT HTML5 processing in PDF Chemistry

PDF Chemistry uses the HTML5 output from the DITA-OT as a starting point for its own publishing process. And I really like that when I create my own HTML5 plugins to customize labels and structures, that PDF Chemistry picks up the changes! But the standard DITA-OT HTML5 transformation creates an ent...

Re: Searching the right approach: Specialization with RELAX NG v

You can use the following open-source utility to create RelaxNG DITA grammars from a high-level description: https://github.com/chrispy-snps/DITA-plugin-utilities I developed this utility so that we can easily specialize DITA for our own content. We have about 50,000 pages of documentation successfu...

I thought about discarding all the changes that aren't her local work and re-pulling, but I was worried this might break things more than they are. I figured I'd check here for advice first.

Git - cannot pull, files are desynchonized somehow

One of my users is unable to do a Pull in the Git Staging window. The pull button reports her as 27 commits behind. When she presses the Pull button, it shows "connecting" for the status, but then nothing happens - there's no warnings or errors, and the pull button remains at 27 commits behind. When...

By the way, if your files are available in the Project view, you can invoke the Show History action on a specific directory. The view will then presents just those commits that changed something in that particular directory. It might help you with the detective work. Hi Alex, This is a useful featu...

Provide a dockable Profiling Conditions view

Some of our books require heavy conditionalization during authoring. For these books, it would be great to have a Profiling Conditions view that is selectable from the View menu, and can be organized and docked like the other views. Bonus points for allowing the user to reorder the top-level expanda...

Provide tree view/flat view button in Git History window

We're having issues with users committing files in directories that aren't their area of work. It would be great to have a "tree view"/"flat view" setting in the Git History file list, similar to the buttons in the Git Staging view. Perhaps the button could go at the top of the History window, next ...

1. Auto-pulling remote non-conflicting commits would be very helpful. Despite repeated requests, many writers still go days between pulls. Re: Have a way to pin/unpin favorite files in the Project view

Hi Adrian,

We have about 50 writers sharing the same project file. Each of us works on a different set of books, and that varies over time depending on the workload assigned to us. The favorites for one writer wouldn't apply to the others.

Re: Have a way to pin/unpin favorite files in the Project view

Another thought - it should be possible to add a directory to the favorites list, so that when expanded, it shows the contents as they currently are (i.e. the favorite directory contents are the filesystem contents, not further static favorite entries).

Have a way to pin/unpin favorite files in the Project view

It would be useful to have a "favorites" folder in the Project view where I could add/remove files I tend to work on most often, with the information being stored in my user-level Oxygen settings:

The favorites would be at the top of the Project list where they are most accessible.

Re: Conditionalizing PDF output based on a map's @outputclass

Hi Dan, I did read that documentation. In the following CSS selectors, there is only one bookmap element, and only one of the bookmap conditions will be true for any given document (outputclass is A, B, or not set), so there will only be a single match: div[class~="bookmap"][outputclass~="A"] {...} ...

Conditionalizing PDF output based on a map's @outputclass
