Re: Exclude text from output
Hello, What you are looking for are the DocBook profiling stylesheets. You can find them as follows: - FO(PDF) - [oxygen_folder]/frameworks/docbook/xsl/fo/profile-docbook.xsl - XHTML - [oxygen_folder]/frameworks/docbook/xsl/xhtml/profile-docbook.xsl - XHTML chunk - [oxygen_folder]/frameworks/docbook...

Re: GUI fail when launching 11.2 via oxygenMac.sh
Strange, I have the same Mac OS X and Java versions.
What build number of Oxygen are you running(Help -> About, first row)?
If you start Oxygen normally with Oxygen.app does it do the same thing?

Re: [Syncro SVN] How to commit symbolic link ?
Yes, on the repository it's seen as a file with a special property. But when checked out in a working copy it is turned back into a symbolic link.

Re: GUI fail when launching 11.2 via oxygenMac.sh
Regarding the fields you have mentioned(quick search, xpath search), they are only active when a file is open. And the XPath field is only active for XML files. Yes. I'm saying, if you launch O via the shell and then open an xml file and attempt to paste in value into either the quick search or xpa...

Re: [Syncro SVN] How to commit symbolic link ?
Hello, Syncro SVN Client only enables the symbolic link support for Linux. It should have been enabled on Unix systems as well but this was overlooked. I've logged this to our issue tracking tool and we'll address it in the next release. Meanwhile you can use a workaround for the Syncro SVN Client l...

Re: Can't expand elements inline in schema design view
Hi, In case others are wondering about what was happening... This is indeed a bug in Oxygen's Schema Diagram(Design mode). It only collects namespace prefix declarations from the schema root and the mentioned schema does not declare the 'order' prefix on the root, it is only declared in the schema c...

Re: Author mode: content completion menu
I've added your comments to our issue tracking tool and they will be considered when the decision is made. One unfortunate consequence of the way this is set up, though, is that ENTER is still accessible to that filter, and so if you enter E ENTER is picked out by the filter as if it were an element...

Re: GUI fail when launching 11.2 via oxygenMac.sh
Hello, You are right about the double-clicking of XML files in the Finder when Oxygen is launched via oxygenMac.sh. However since this support is inherent to the Oxygen.app launcher things get complicated. We'll have to see if we can provide a fallback for when it is launched via oxygenMac.sh. Regar...

Re: Author mode: content completion menu
Hello, ENTER appears only for elements that have their text preserved. Unfortunately we cannot put these two items at the bottom of the list by default. Most of our users actually want to either split or input an ENTER with a single keystroke(right now they need at least two, first to show the menu,...

Re: Can't expand elements inline in schema design view
Hello, The only situation where this is known to happen is in a schema that uses components from another schema imported indirectly. e.g. a imports b imports c a uses a complex type from c This type of schema is valid in Oxygen only when the http://apache.org/xml/features/honour-all-schemaLocations ...

Re: Saxon SA examples and help wanted for value checking
Hi, I wouldn't recommend replacing Oxygen's Xerces with another version. Oxygen has some internal Xerces patches for various purposes(e.g. for collecting IDs and IDREFs, for correcting URLs) so using a different version could have unpredictable results. We do plan to offer an option in a future vers...

Re: Absolute links for cross-platform working
Well, to accommodate the less tech-savvy people the trick is to use HTTP URLs directly to the repository, this way they won't need to know anything about that. And since they probably don't need(or know how) to change the stylesheets or the schemas from the repository they won't have to check out an...

Re: Absolute links for cross-platform working
Hello, Apologies for the late reply. The problem here is that you are using a network share from multiple platforms and I really see no way of making this work cross-platform with absolute paths The simplest way to resolve this would be to have a repository that can be accessed via HTTP. Since a HTT...

Hello,
While EXSLT does work in Oxygen I'm afraid it isn't currently possible to have Content Completion for its templates and functions.
I don't see a possible workaround for providing this.

Adrian

Hello, As you know not all parsers are created equal and some will optimize the code up to a level where some breakpoints will be completely skipped. e.g. If I set a breakpoint on a variable declaration: <xsl:variable name="myvar"> <xsl:value-of select="*[1]"/> </xsl:variable> ) ...

Re: Problems with 11.2 -- reverted to 10.3
Hi, I have tried running 11.2 with both the OpenJDK (which is my default) and the Sun JRE which is in the oXygen directory. I'd ended up with the OpenJDK because it was causing fewer lockups, but I've now switched back to the bundled JRE. OpenJDK is not supported by Oxygen, it has a number of issues...

Hi, I've added your requests to our issue tracking tool. For HTTP requests we could look at the content-type that is provided by the HTTP server in the HTTP header. Hello, If you have downloaded, unpacked and ran the 'All platforms' kit of oxygen(oxygen.tar.gz) then Oxygen might have ran with the OpenJDK Java virtual machine. Re: HTML Browser view
Hello, Oxygen is a Java application so the most it can do out-of-the-box is present the HTML file in the internal Java HTML browser/renderer(which is pretty terrible).
