Re: Settings for Languages other than English?
Hello, The problem is that the characters you use aren't supported by the default font used for the PDF. You have to use and embed in the PDF a font that supports these characters(Cyrillic). There is a procedure in the Oxygen User Manual for setting a font for the PDF output generated with the Apach...

Re: Improvements to Data Sources interface
Hi Joe, Unfortunately the 'Open URL'/'Save to URL' dialogs only keep the last used server, user and password(you've found the correct options tags). I see we already have this feature request on our issue tracking tool. I'll add your vote. Right now if you use several servers it would be best to cre...

Re: Improvements to Data Sources interface
Hello, We'll consider your suggestion. Right now you can use the Options -> Export Global Options/Import Global Options actions if you want to get the Data Source and Connections options across several Oxygen installations. After you export the options(use .xml extension) you should open the exporte...

Re: Schema constraint validation
You can find Saxon-EE in the Custom Validation Engines combo box from the Oxygen toolbar(to the right of the Perspective and External Tools toolbars). Note that if used this way (as opposed to a custom validation scenario), Oxygen/Saxon reports the same warnings, but in Design View, nothing gets hi...

Re: Improvements to Data Sources interface
Hi, We will take your request under consideration. The thing is, with the way passwords are kept in the options right now this would mean that the passwords from the database connections would be valid for one user and invalid for all others. So if we would allow data sources/connections in the proj...

Re: Can not find Generic JDBC Driver on OS X
Hello, The JDBC-ODBC bridge is only provided by Oxygen when it is run on Windows platforms. This bridge is a built-in component of the Sun JVM and unfortunately it is not present in Apple's own JVM(as far as I know). Anyway, the JDBC-ODBC bridge should only be used as a last resort, it's not particu...

Re: Schema constraint validation
Hello, First, the "KeyRef@1cd35c5" from the message is a mistake in either the Xerces code or one of our patches. I'll look that up and see if we can fix it from our side. Then there's the schema validation issues. Xerces, the same parser used by Oxygen to validate schemas, performs the sa...

Re: external parameters always string ?
Hello,
Unfortunately Oxygen allows only string parameters for a transformation, so there is currently no way to set a parameter as node(). We already have this on our issue tracking tool and we plan to resolve it in a future version. I'll increase the issue's priority.
Regards,
Adrian

Re: Null Pointer / hyphenations issues with FOP
The hyphenation support is optional and also language dependent, that's why it's not included. It would have worked fine without it. The NPE is a bug in Apache FOP which is triggered by an empty fo:inline element. Such an empty fo:inline is usually created during the DocBook to PDF transformation fr...

Thank you for the sample. So, to clarify, the original table as it was saved by FrameMaker had no colspec elements but had colname attributes in entry elements. Did I get that right? e.g. <table> <tgroup cols="2"> <thead> <row> <entry colname="1">RangeModifier Attributes</entry> ...

Re: Element in template match ignored when transforming
Hello
I couldn't reproduce this with the code snippets you have provided.
I see there's an import to another stylesheet that was omitted:
<xsl:import href="processinginstructions.xsl" />
Maybe it happens because some of the FO code generated by that stylesheet?
Regards,
Adrian

Re: Author 11.2 table columns can't be dragged
Hello, Thank you for the feedback. As a note, you should know that Oxygen's drag and drop table resizing support does not work for DITA customizations that add their own customized tables. Hi, If you need to keep elementFormDefault="qualified" in E142 you can still use the include trick I've shown you, you just have to specify the same elementFormDefault="qualified" attribute on the root of that schema. <xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema&quo...

Re: Restricting complex imported type
Hello, I'm afraid that you can't do this kind of restriction in the main schema because you have a different target namespace than in the imported sschema and the elements from the restriction are from the main schema's namespace so they are not equivalent to the ones from the imported schema. A qui...

Hello,
Apparently the type has to be 'image/jpeg' and not 'image/jpg', at least according to epubCheck. I know it seems a bit ridiculous but change the file extension to .jpeg and try again.

Hello, It's possible that the file really isn't a PNG and someone simply changed its extension to '.png'. You can extract that png from the epub and then use an image info tool such as this one: http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/ to determine the real image type of the file. If the real i...
