Re: dita-ot:nn() XPath functions
Aah, I see it in Oxygen's 3.x OT. But it's not in the 2.5 OT I am working with. I thought it was some Oxygen extension or something. There are no docs about this, either, in the OT docs at https://www.dita-ot.org/. Maybe I'll open a bug.
Thanks Radu!

dita-ot:nn() XPath functions
In working on a DITA OT XSLT file in Oxygen 21.1, I saw many XPath functions in the XPath dropdown that have a "dita-ot:" prefix like these: dita-ot:resolve-href-path() dita-ot:capitalize(text) dita-ot:get-closest-topic(n) etc. There are about 21 of these in the XPath function dropdown. Wh...

Re: XML catalog unexpected behavior
Ouch! You're right. That fixed it, Radu, thank you very much! I've looked at that file a hundred times. I have a follow-on question now. This setup uses a fake string "file:///mystring/" in the catalog to make it easier on authors, as kind of an alias: <system systemId="file:///mystri...

XML catalog unexpected behavior
I'm running Docbook 5.1 and I'm using XML catalog files to resolve file paths. There are 3 catalog files connected with <nextCatalog> elements. When I add the top-level catalog to Options/Preferences/XML/XML Catalog, Docbook publishing fails because it can't resolve the file paths. But when I add th...

Using DITA OT 3.2.1, running HTML-based output (Suitehelp). This command line runs successfully: bin\dita -f suitehelp -i "C:\path\to\mymap.ditamap" -v But when I try to run the same OT, transtype and ditamap in Oxygen v.18.1, the build fails with the errors below near the end of the build...

DITA OT builds fail with v20, works with v19
I am running two transformation scenarios that uses a customized DITA OT v1.8.5 to produce pdf2 and D4P output. Both PDF and D4P produce output when I run it in Oxygen 19. But when I run the same scenarios in Oxygen 20.1, they both fail. Partial PDF and D4P log files below. What do you think? Thanks...

Re: OSX scroll without moving cursor - keyboard shortcut
Aha! Great, that worked. I went to System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts, and I unchecked Mission Control (which was Ctrl-Up Arrow) and also unchecked Application windows (Ctrl-Down Arrow).
Now I can do what I need with Ctrl-up/down, just like in Windows.
Thanks,
Mark

OSX scroll without moving cursor - keyboard shortcut
Using Oxygen 19.1 standalone on OSX. When I have a file open (XML, XSLT, shell script etc), I want to scroll the window without moving the mouse. On Windows I can do this with Ctrl-Up Arrow and Ctrl-Down Arrow. What is the equivalent on OSX? I can do this with 2 fingers on the trackpad but I want a ...

Re: XEP install error
I got it working. All I did was to remove the existing XEP config in the FO Processors dialog, and replace it with nothing. Then it just worked. I guess Oxygen was smart enough to figure it out from these DITA OT parameters that were already there in the transformations scenario: pdf.formatter = xep...

Thanks Radu. Does it need to be the shell script? Because the XEP shell script (usually called "xep") is not in the repo I'm using. Only the jar file xep.jar is available as an executable. I could dig up the shell script from another XEP installation I have, but I'd like to now if I can ge...

Oxygen 18.1 crashing regularly on OSX
I have about a dozen writers using Oxygen 18.1 on Mac OS X (DITA). About 5 of them say that Oxygen crashes on them every day at least once. Some of those are using OS X Sierra 10.12.4. Sometimes they can't get Oxygen to work again unless they reboot. Is there a problem with 18.1 on OSX? Would upgrad...

Using Oxygen 18.0. I work with a lot of HTML5 documents these days and I want to be able to validate them in oxygen, or at least pretty-print them. Need a good way to disable standard DITA DTDs
I have made custom DITA DTD shells for a team of writers, using a custom doctype in the standard way. I've created custom Oxygen map and topic templates that use these doctypes and installed them in the authors' New dialog box. But authors still sometimes create topics with the standard DTDs, which ...

Does webhelp plugin work in OT 1.5.3?
Will the webhelp plugin work in DITA Open Toolkit version 1.5.3? My client uses that version, and using a newer version inside their CCMS would take more effort. By the way I would be using the server license of the webhelp plugin.
Thanks,
