Re: Attribute pane cannot be locked in required space
Hi, Please see some answers below: - How can I fix it in its right place? A floating view has a Toggle Float button on the window title bar which can be pressed to dock it again. Or you can double click the title bar to dock it. Or you can drag it around in the part where you want to dock it and at ...

Re: Display of XMLPI and XMLNS
Hi Julio, Are you using custom processing instructions or are you referring to the ones added by Oxygen when change tracking is enabled or when you add comments to the topics? Usually the XSLT stylesheets which output the HTML and PDF do nothing special with processing instructions and they are not ...

Re: How to assign a keystroke to "Insert Tag" rather than "Surround with Tag"
Hi, Could you tell me if you are editing content in the Text or in the Author visual editing mode? Also, are you editing a custom XML vocabulary or is it Docbook? Because for Docbook we have in the Author visual editing mode special toolbar buttons for inserting links. Anyway, in the Oxygen Preferen...

Re: Tags views in Author mode
Hi Richard, Not sure what advice to give you because it depends on what each writer is comfortable with. By default Oxygen comes with the "Partial Tags" display and we are using it internally mostly like this. There are various tooltips and helpers (Outline, Breadcrumb) which show the writ...

Re: problem with rendering Webhelp using a DITA map that references DITA files in other locations
Hi, The easiest way to find the CSSs where Oxygen styles various DITA XML elements is to select the element (or to place the caret directly inside it), right click and choose "Inspect Styles". The Styles Inspector should allow you to see all defined styles and open the CSSs at that particu...

Re: Duplicated topics with Reltable Not Outputting Correctly in Webhelp
Hi, This looks like a bug in the DITA Open Toolkit. Oxygen 17.1 comes bundled with both DITA Open Toolkit 1.8 and 2.x bundled. The Oxygen Preferences-> DITA is the place where you can select the default DITA Open Toolkit to use. I tried replicating your scenario and in my case the first occurrence o...

Re: Unable to import DITA-OT plugin
Hi Alastair, Even if Oxygen reports problem with your build file, the publishing might still work. What happens is that your custom build.xml is just a small module, when you run the integrator, the main DITA-OT/build.xml is updated to add an import to your custom module. So the main DITA-OT/build.x...

Re: XHTML Author mode and SVG images display?
Hi Riley, Please see some comments below: I'm using oXygen to edit an XHTML 1.1 page that both the W3C validator and oXygen 18 validate without errors. (oXygen is, by the way, overall a very nice XHTML and CSS editor...) Thanks, if you have any improvement suggestions (for example extra toolbar acti...

Re: Unable to import DITA-OT plugin
Hi Alastair, First of all in the Oxygen Preferences-> DITA page you can see the default DITA OT installation used by Oxygen. Running the integrator transformation scenario in Oxygen will run it in that particular configured DITA OT. In the "Transformation Scenarios" view there is a cog-lik...

Re: Moving Figure Title Below Figure
Hi, For a possible XSLT patch, assuming that you are publishing using the DITA Open Toolkit 1.8.5 bundled with Oxygen, in the XSLT stylesheet: OXYGEN_INSTALL_DIR/frameworks/dita/DITA-OT/plugins/org.dita.xhtml/xsl/xslhtml/dita2htmlImpl.xsl there is an XSLT template which outputs the figure element: <...

Re: Moving Figure Title Below Figure
Hi, There are no parameters to control this. Also in my opinion if you have a large table setting the title below it will not work as the end user will not see the title from the beginning. But you can probably create an XHTML XSLT customization for this. The XSLTs which are used to generate the XHT...

Hi,
Thanks for the request, I added an issue on our side and we'll consider adding default support for such certificates. Right now we rely on what the Java VM supports out of the box.

Re: changing fonts messes up bold formatting
Hi Miklos, So: I've added new fonts to the logical font categories in font-mappings.xml and for some reason a couple of elements like notes, def lists and such lost their default "bold" formatting. One possibility: the new fonts you have configured do not have a "bold" style. Ano...

Hi,
We do not have particular documentation for each action ID but you can use System.err to print to console the entire map tp.getActionsProvider().getTextActions(). If you start Oxygen using the command line startup script you should see in the console messages from your plugins.

Radu

Also, could you try to create an XHTML5 document in Oxygen and see if it recognizes those attribute properly?

Re: prettyPrint with oXygen settings
Hi, There indeed seems to be a difference between the API and the "Format and Indent" action. The "Format and indent" action also looks at the schema (RNG or DTD) referenced by the XML while the API method ignores it. I will add an issue to see if we can fix this on our side. But...

Hi Luke, I do not quite understand. Are those resources stored on a CMS? When the topics are opened in Oxygen, does Oxygen know how to resolve the conrefs? Re: Find unreferenced resources/ links in SVG files
Hi Annette, Indeed the action looks for dependencies only in DITA topics, it will not go through SVGs or other non-DITA resources and find dependencies to other resources. What you could do would be to also refer to those BMP images in the DITA Map as resource-only resources like: <topicref href=&qu...

Re: ANT with DITA-OT 2.2.2
Hi Ann, So if you open the "dita.bat" in Oxygen, at some point it starts ANT: "%_JAVACMD%" %ANT_OPTS% -classpath ......... so it seems to look at an env variable called ANT_OPTS which you could set up to have that Xmx value. Or you can modify the dita.bat directly like: "%_J...
