Re: Profiling styles no longer showing in Editor
Hello,
Is there an easy way to show these colours in pdf or html output?
What we'd like to do is create a pdf file for reviewing that shows changes (flagged with the rev attribute).
Cheers,
Eddie.

Hello,
Thanks for the reply.
The Tools menu would be fine, thanks.
The maps are stored in a version control system, but always downloaded to the writer's local machine for editing.
Cheers,
Eddie.

Re: format and indent a map?
Many thanks for adding this in V17.
I don't wish to sound ungrateful but...
Is there any chance of getting this added to the Map Manager or main menu? We're not using projects, so it's a bit out of the way.
Anyway, thanks for the response to the initial request.
Cheers,
Eddie.

Format and Indent with menucascade
Hello, We are creating files with menucascade added to the Preserve space list of elements, but we have some existing files which were written before that, so we have both "styles" of menucascade, sometimes in the same file, like this: <step> <cmd>Click <menucascade><uicontrol>This</uicont...

Show/Set EOL Style
Hello,
I noticed that, in Author V17 you can set the EOL style when exporting from the repository.
Is it possible to do that just in Author? If possible we'd like to be able to see the EOL (LF etc) and if necessary, change it.
Cheers,
Eddie.

License not Accepted in V17
Hello,
I installed V17, but it won't accept my licence.
It says my licence is for an old version (originally bought when 15 was current) and I need a licence specifically for 17.
I didn't have this problem when I installed 16. Has something changed?
Cheers,
Eddie.

64-bit or 32-bit?
Hello, We're starting to use oXygen more widely, and we've been asked which bit version is recommended for a 64-bit OS. I couldn't really work it out from the site: http://www.oxygenxml.com/download_oxygenxml_author.html It seems to be saying we should use 32-bit oXygen on a 64-bit system, unless &q...

Re: Question about Format and Indent
Hello Radu, Thanks for the reply. You're right, I have tried this with "Indent Inline Settings" cleared. Just to be sure, can you confirm that the following is the correct behaviour? Cheers, Eddie. Original. (Ideally, we'd like it to stay this way after formatting.) <ul> <li>List 1, Item 1...

Question about Format and Indent
Hello, We have some (DITA) files which have nested <ul>s. We want to display them as they are, which is like this: <ul> <li>List 1, Item 1. <ul> <li>List 2, Item 1.</li> <li>List 2, Item 2.</li> </ul> </li> <li>List 1, Item 2.</li> But oXygen's Format and Indent moves the second <ul> up onto the end...

Is there a maximum value for this setting?
I've tried well past the maximum pre-set value of 1000 and it just seems to keep going.

Re: format and indent a map?
Hello,
Was there any movement on this?
We'd also like to have this function - it would be very useful for making sure that topics are formatted in the same way.
Cheers,
Eddie.

I found this thread by googling for Author and alt tags and so I didn't realise it was posted under DocBook.
Sorry,

Re: Problem with alt tags in author view
Hello, I'm not using DocBook, just Author 16.1. We have an in-house PDF/HTML output tool that requires image height and width specs. These are set with the standard DITA height and width attributes, like this: <choice>ツールバーの<image href="../images/insert-comment.gif" height="29" w...

Re: Problem with alt tags in author view
Hello, I've noticed that this (or something very similar) is back in 16.1. I'm putting alt elements for images and I've noticed that, if I specify a width attribute for the image, that seems to affect the line width for the alt text in Author view. As a result, in the case of narrow images (such as ...

Hello,
With regard to this, is it still possible to get a licence for this (XML Diff as standalone product)? The links all seem to lead to licences for the main products (Author etc).
Cheers,
Eddie.

Open/Find Resource in Japanese Version
Hello, I'm trying to work out the way "Open/Find Resource" is supposed to work with Japanese text. (Using V16.1 on Japanese OS, having switched to Japanese language display.) For example, if I search for "画面" in files that I know contain that word, I get no hits. But if I just se...

Thanks for the reply, Alex. To be more precise, we just want to control the id part such that the id starts with a lowercase letter and only contains lowercase letters, numbers and dashes. At the moment, we are telling our users to turn off automatic id generation and create ids manually. It seems w...

Automatic ID Generation
Hello,
We want to generate IDs automatically for topics, but we want some control over the ID. For example, we don't want any underscores in the ID. Is there a way to do this? Perhaps by defining the "id" part of "${localName}_${id}"
Thanks,
Eddie.
