Re: Changing icon size in Oxygen Editor 22.0
Hello, I'm guessing you have scaling (size of apps and text) set to 150% or more in the Windows Display settings (Settings > System > Display, Scale and layout). What screen resolution and what scaling setting are you currently using? Oxygen has only two sets of resources (icons), one for 100% (1x) ...

Re: Missing tabs in editor
Hi, You can set it in oxygen22.0.vmoptions , or better yet, in a new file named custom_commons.vmoptions so that all other tools also pick this up and also make this persistent between maintenance build updates (new files are not removed). But it was actually correct to set -Dsun.java2d.uiScale=2 be...

Re: MacOS problem when screen sharing
Hello,
I'm afraid there's nothing we can do for Java 8 bugs. There are no more Java 8 free updates.
Try the distribution of Oxygen with OpenJDK. There is no functionality loss. OpenJDK should perform better especially on newer macOS versions (10.14, 10.15).
Regards,
Adrian

Re: Format and indent breaks lines in attributes
Hi, What version and build of Oxygen are you using (Help > About)? That's actually a completely different example and result than what you've shown in your initial post. Tag still gets a line break, but not before the attribute. I can't tell why this is happening. Please send us a sample (code snipp...

Hi, Thank you for confirming. I did not get the chance to announce it here, we just released the new maintenance build yesterday. I'm mentioning it here for anyone else that has encountered this problem. This issue has been resolved in the latest maintenance build of Oxygen 22.0, 2020030607 (release...

Re: Missing tabs in editor
Hi, That's actually Java that you're instructing to use 2x (200%) scaling with "-Dsun.java2d.uiScale=2". Oxygen uses a different scaling property . In turn Oxygen also adjusts its scaling to this Java scaling, so that's actually the correct way to do this. Java automatic scaling detection only works...

Hello, Thank you for letting us know about this. Do you have a high screen resolution with text scaling enabled? We can reproduce the issue even on Windows, with OpenJDK 13, but only with scaling enabled. So it seems to be scaling/HiDPI related. I've logged an issue to investigate and fix the proble...

Re: Linux install no longer adds start menu items
Hello, We are aware of this issue in the initial build of v22.0, build 2020021016. The issue is caused by the installer and is triggered by spaces in the installation folder path. Installing to a folder without spaces (e.g. /home/user/OxygenXMLEditor22.0) avoids the issue. This will be resolved in t...

Hello, When you installed v22, did you first remove the previous version, or did you install on top of an existing version? If the folder already existed, you should Replace it when updating to the new version, you should never Merge it. Merge makes a mess of the application up to the point that it ...

There is an embedded YouTube player on that page. It works fine for me with Firefox 73.0 on Windows 10.

Re: Wrapping that preserves indentation
But unfortunately, Oxygen's Format and Indent feature doesn't help me because even when I don't select the surrounding element tokens, the formatter includes them in the formatted result, which messes up the way my XSLT code looks: The formatter works at element level, you can't format just the tex...

Re: How to write BreakPoint Condtions
Hi, There were some issues in v19 with variable evaluation, but the symptoms were the variable was listed, but had no value, instead there was a message "The variable value is undefined". This was later fixed in v21. I don't have v19.0 readily available to test, it is no longer being supported. Coul...

Hi, Variable evaluation depends a lot on the debugger and XSLT engine. What version of Oxygen are you using? Which XSLT engine (including version) are you using to debug (Saxon-HE/PE/EE)? BTW, try to disable optimizations or set optimization level to 0 (older versions) in the "Advanced options" (cog...

Re: Cannot Select Installed Font in Preferences
Hi, Oxygen is a Java application. Most likely Java does not detect the font you have installed. How did you install the font? Did you use "Install for me" or "Install for all users"? AFAIK, Java only sees the font if you have used "Install for all users". BTW, have you tried restarting Windows, afte...

Re: How to write BreakPoint Condtions
Hello, A breakpoint on the XML source only works if the context (current node) of a template contains or is the node involved in the breakpoint. In your example xsl:template/@match="PayGroup/Employee" contains the node you're looking for, so in that context the breakpoint condition for what you want...

Hello,
Unfortunately that's not possible as of v21.1. The "Elements spacing" options are, as the title hints, for elements only. Only a simplified form of XPath can be used in these rules and it must indicate elements.

Hello, Is there any way to make automatic wrapping indent to the same level as the first line? It does not touch the content and it does n...

You'll also want to remove the "//AuslandsHochschulen/" part of the XPath from the inner xsl:value-of/@select.
e.g.

Try:
