Re: Show path anywhere?

Hi,

In v12.2 "XPath update on caret move" is available as a toggle button in the toolbar, on the right of the cogwheel (XPath options) button.

Re: XSLT

Hi, I would still need some actual input to feed the entire stylesheet and obtain the same thing you are seeing. This XSLT stylesheet is pretty much a "horror story" as stylesheets go. It mostly parses text and recreates XML in a different structure than the original one. It also seems to ...

Re: Include default values in Schema for XPath query

Hi, I tested with an attribute of type xs:int, but XPath still works fine for me. Perhaps the problem is within a specific context determined by the schema? Re: Include default values in Schema for XPath query

Hi, 1. Is the schema (mobs.xsd) available locally, in the same folder as the XML, or is there an XML catalog resolving the URI to point to its location? 2. What version of Oxygen are you using? 3. What XPath expression/query are you using? Check if your XPath expression accounts for the namespaces. ...

Re: Include default values in Schema for XPath query

Hello, If an attribute is specified in my Schema as having a default value, is there a way to get the XPath query to include that value in the results? The XPath engine needs to be Schema Aware (SA) in order for this to work, so you must select either XPath 2.0 SA or XPath 3.0 SA from the XPath engi...

Re: make Oxygen open in a maximized window on Ubuntu

Hi, Oxygen v10.3 (released in 2009) has reached its end of life quite some time ago (2011) and is no longer maintained or supported. Oxygen v10.3 has never been tested on Ubuntu 11 or later, so it might have issues with Unity that could not have been predicted at the time, as it was only tested on G...

Re: Oxygen-20.0 is CPU-hogging

Hello, Thank you for the feedback. We have recently become aware of this issue. Unfortunately this is a known bug in Java 8u162 which comes bundled with Oxygen v20.0. There are no proper workarounds that we know of. One solution that we are currently contemplating is downgrading to the previous vers...

Re: Configure editor not to open in existing project context

Hi, Is it possible somehow to configure Oxygen XML Editor NOT to open in a project view or to open in a new project? In short, no, currently (as of v20) that's not possible. Oxygen needs a project environment and that's the project you used in the last session. So, if you want it to open the files i...

Re: GUI oddity in Oxygen 20.0

Re: XQuery not producing doctype declaration

Is there no way to generate the doctype declaration?
No, AFAIK it's not possible as long as the output is serialized by the XQJ transformation. It doesn't mater how you process it before, it's the serialization that must support this.

Re: XQuery not producing doctype declaration

Hi, Unfortunately XQJ transformations support only XQuery 1.0 . This is a limitation of the XQJ API. I believe the problem is that the serialization parameters have only been standardized in XQuery 3.0/3.1. Note that the namespace http://www.w3.org/2010/xslt-xquery-serialization points to a XSLT and...
