Re: Custom transformation parameters for css

Useful technique, thank you!

Is there a way to write a CSS selector so that it is only applied when the parameter is set to a particular value?

Re: Have a way to pin/unpin favorite files in the Project view

Hi Adrian,

We have about 50 writers sharing the same project file. Each of us works on a different set of books, and that varies over time depending on the workload assigned to us. The favorites for one writer wouldn't apply to the others.

Re: Have a way to pin/unpin favorite files in the Project view

Another thought - it should be possible to add a directory to the favorites list, so that when expanded, it shows the contents as they currently are (i.e. the favorite directory contents are the filesystem contents, not further static favorite entries).

These options can also be found in the " Profiling/Conditional Text " and " Profiling/Conditional Text/Colors and Styles " preferences pages. You set to store the options from these pages in the project file (selecting the "Project Options" radio button from the bottom of the page). For this, the p...

Have a way to pin/unpin favorite files in the Project view

It would be useful to have a "favorites" folder in the Project view where I could add/remove files I tend to work on most often, with the information being stored in my user-level Oxygen settings:

The favorites would be at the top of the Project list where they are most accessible.

Re: Conditionalizing PDF output based on a map's @outputclass

Hi everyone, There was indeed a bug with conditional PDF metadata when the cover page was suppressed. This bug will be fixed in the next release of the PDF Chemistry publishing engine. Here is the CSS we will use to conditionalize our PDF data for our books (no @outputclass on map) and release notes...

Re: Conditionalizing PDF output based on a map's @outputclass

Hi Dan, I did read that documentation. In the following CSS selectors, there is only one bookmap element, and only one of the bookmap conditions will be true for any given document (outputclass is A, B, or not set), so there will only be a single match: div[class~="bookmap"][outputclass~="A"] {...} ...

Hi Dan, The unset properties were there to see if the default properties were overriding my attempt to set the title. The problem is that I cannot get the -oxy-pdf-meta-title to apply in this code: div[class~="bookmap"][outputclass~="A"] { -oxy-pdf-meta-title: "A1"; -oxy-pdf-meta-author: "A2"; -oxy-...

Conditionalizing PDF output based on a map's @outputclass

Hi everyone, We have a few different document types (books, release notes, installation notes) that require slightly different PDF formatting. Re: What about Git support?

Our commit graphs have many parallel and intertwining nonsynchronized paths because of this. Debugging commit...

Re: What about Git support?

Hi Alex, While looking into Git submodules: https://www.oxygenxml.com/forum/post58267.html?hilit=git%20plugin#p58267 I think I figured out that differences in LF/CRLF line endings were the cause of my Git client interaction issues. Hello Chris, From what I tried a few moments ago, having a *.dat archive containing only a DocumentList.xml file, with the proper structure, is enough. In regard to the name of the *.dat file, you should first read https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/22.1/ug-author/topics/autocorrect-dictionarie...

Allow "stop" characters to be configured for double-clicking to select a phrase

When I double-click in the Oxygen editor, it selects a phrase for me. Currently, this phrase selection stops at underscores. However, I would like it to select through underscores, as almost all the labels we wrap in <codeph> in our documentation have underscores in the names. It would be very usefu...
