Re: Webhelp Responsive interface not localized

Another WebHelp thing I could only get to work with the Classic and not with the Repsonsive output: The five-star rating system does not work in the Responsive search.

Customizing WebHelp Responsive: Menu left / All chapters in TOC

We are currently customizing the WebHelp Responsive (Tree) to our style. This works fine so far, thanks for the great documentation (https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/18/ug-editor/topics/wh-responsive-customization-tips.html). So far, there are two things I don't know how to customize. It seems...

Re: Webhelp Responsive interface not localized

Right, I remember this from the last time I wanted to add a new language. Using DITA-OT Integrator worked last time, but not this time :| The log says it was succesful: integrate: [jar] Warning: messages.xml modified in the future. Webhelp Responsive interface not localized

Hi, a while ago I tested the localization of the WebHelp Classic interface and it worked fine. This was explained very well here: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/18/ug-editor/tasks/localize-webhelp-1.html The explanation for localizing the WebHelp Responsive interface seems to be exactly the ...

Oh, that's unfortunate indeed.

Thank you for making us aware of the RNG constraint and providing the links. We'll have a look at this.

Re: Transformation fails - "Cannot find declaration of the element 'map'"

We are using specialization, yes. We've narrowed down the element set to only display the elements we need in Oxygen. We've not added any new elements. DITA-OT version 2.0.1 Our maps look like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <?xml-model href="urn:bla:dita:rng:bla_map.rng" schematypens="...

Transformation fails - "Cannot find declaration of the element 'map'"

We want to have nightly automated PDF and WebHelp builds on our server. Until now there were quite a few obstacles to overcome. However, now I am stuck with the following error message: Command: dita.bat -i <ditamap file> -f pdf Output error: Failed to run pipeline: [DOTJ012F][FATAL] Failed to parse...

I've checked this again with Oxygen 18 and the activated accessibility setting ( userAgent.setAccessibility(true); ). The PDF properties are: Created with: Apache FOP 2.1 PDF-Version: 1.5 (Acrobat 6.x) PDF with tags: Yes Now the PDF is accessible (checked with the Accessibility Check feature of Acro...

Re: PDFs are not comparable with Acrobat Pro (tag problem?)

Sorry for the delayed answer.

We will switch to Oxygen 18 in a few weeks. Then I will check out the Apacho FOP 2.1 and will get back at you with sample content if the problem still remains.

Index Sorting for Japanese

Hello, at the moment, we are publishing to PDF and HTML help. For the future, we'd also like to provide a webhelp for our documentation. For Japanese, the index and glossary terms must be sorted according to their language rules (Hiragana, Katakana). We add a <sort-as> element to each index term and...

Re: Changing the Related Link order - "topic name "on page" "page number"

It's not about the translation, but about the order of the elements. The "on page" is translated correctly, but I don't know how to move the "on page" element before the "link text" element. The xml:lang attribute is set correctly. So I want to have the following variable to appear in front of the t...

Changing the Related Link order - "topic name "on page" "page number"

Hello, our Japanese translators just informed us that for the Related Links section, our order of "topic name", "on page", and "page number" does not work in Japanese. PDFs are not comparable with Acrobat Pro (tag problem?)

Hello, since switching to Oxygen, we cannot compare PDFs anymore using Acrobat Pro. We want to provide our translators with compare PDFs, to allow them to proofread their translations while seeing which text is old and which text is new. This worked pretty well with our old PDFs (created with FrameM...

New ditamaps are referenced as "topicref" instead of "mapref"

Hello, when I am creating a new ditamap via right-clicking in the DITA Maps Manager > Append child / Insert After > New > Map template , the ditamap is inserted as "topicref". That is a great idea. It would also help to have more focus on the topics that only contain reusable content. They normally never appear in any of our ditamaps.

Search doesn't find text inside referenced elements

If I want to find a certain term or sentence, I open the ditamap in the DITA Maps Manager, press Ctrl+F, type in the search term and click Find All. This works very well. Re: DITA Maps Manager - Displaying the file path instead of the topic title

One reason for this request is the fact that we publish our documents in several languages, including Japanese, Russian and Chinese. When opening a ditamap in one of those languages, the path and file name of a topic would help me much more than the topic title.
