WebHelp Responsive: Procedure, Example, After Completing This Task, etc. titles missing

Some auto-texts are not available in the WebHelp (Responsive) output. For example, Procedure, After Completing This Task, Example, Prerequisite, Result. In our PDFs, we have those texts and the authors rely on them when phrasing sentences. In the WebHelp Repsonsive output, the corresponding elements...

Re: WebHelp Responsive: Related Links as one category

Sorry, I should have given more information. We are using the <related-links> element. <related-links> <linkpool> <link href="bla1_c.xml#bla1_c"/> <link href="bla2_t.xml#bla2_t"/> <link href="bla3_t.xml#bla3_t"/> </linkpool> </related-links>

WebHelp Responsive: Related Links as one category

Hi,

is there a way to avoid having the related links separated by topic type (concept, task, reference)?

I'd rather have one "Related links" section with all related links in it instead of "Related reference", "Related task", "Related concept".

Thank you,

Benjamin

Re: Customizing WebHelp Responsive: Menu left / All chapters in TOC

I didn't get far with trying to modify the 'generateSideToc' template.

Can you point me to the template that generates the main page toc (which includes all ditamaps)? Maybe this will help me figure this out.

Re: WebHelp Responsive: Custom CSS as addition to default CSS

Could please try to change the DITA Open Toolkit option to Built-in DITA-OT 2.x and check if the problem persists? If yes, please send us the content of the console output. The console output is not displayed by default. To enable it you should go to the DITA preferences page and change the Show co...

My bad, set the wrong checkmark. Here the WebHelp Responsive output. I'll try your suggestions in a moment. <head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0" /> <script> /** * If an old URL is given, redi...

Re: WebHelp Responsive: Custom CSS as addition to default CSS

Hm, I did it like you said, but it doesn't work. The WebHelp Responsive output does not take the custom CSS into account. args.copycss is set to "yes" by default. The custom CSS is not mentioned in the output files and the custom CSS file is also not copied into the output folder. If I copy the cont...

WebHelp Responsive: Custom CSS as addition to default CSS

Hello, we have created a custom template for our WebHelp Reponsive output (Oxygen 18.0.1). I would like to leave the default CSS untouched and have the things we want to change in a second CSS file, that we add via the args.css parameter. But it doesn't work like that, it seems. Is the args.css file...

Re: Webhelp Responsive interface not localized

I just installed the 18.0.1 to check the localization. We are using a customized framework, so I tried to diff our framework with the 18.0.1 framework. I copied all changes I found in the DITA-OT\plugins\com.oxygenxml.webhelp folder to our customized webhelp folder. This is not enough, it seems. The...

Re: WebHelp Responsive: Place index in TOC (no "book" icon anymore)

Hi Radu,

thanks for the links.

We are using the WebHelp Responsive output. My intention is to get rid of the Index Terms Links button (with the book icon). Instead, I want to have the link to the Index page in the table of contents menu. Like we do in our PDFs.

WebHelp Responsive: Place index in TOC (no "book" icon anymore)

Hi,

the last chapter of our PDFs is always the index. Now with WebHelp, the index is not located in the TOC, but can be accessed via clicking the book icon.

Is there a way to handle the index like any ditamap and place it in the TOC?

Customizing WebHelp Responsive: Menu left / All chapters in TOC

We are currently customizing the WebHelp Responsive (Tree) to our style. This works fine so far, thanks for the great documentation (https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/18/ug-editor/topics/wh-responsive-customization-tips.html). So far, there are two things I don't know how to customize. It seems...

Hi, a while ago I tested the localization of the WebHelp Classic interface and it worked fine. Re: Transformation fails - "Cannot find declaration of the element 'map'"

We are using specialization, yes. We've narrowed down the element set to only display the elements we need in Oxygen. We've not added any new elements. DITA-OT version 2.0.1 Our maps look like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <?xml-model href="urn:bla:dita:rng:bla_map.rng" schematypens="...

Index Sorting for Japanese

Hello, at the moment, we are publishing to PDF and HTML help. For the future, we'd also like to provide a webhelp for our documentation. For Japanese, the index and glossary terms must be sorted according to their language rules (Hiragana, Katakana). We add a <sort-as> element to each index term and...

Re: Changing the Related Link order - "topic name "on page" "page number"

It's not about the translation, but about the order of the elements. The "on page" is translated correctly, but I don't know how to move the "on page" element before the "link text" element. The xml:lang attribute is set correctly. So I want to have the following variable to appear in front of the t...
