Re: Responsive Webhelp Footer

You are right, with a standard WebHelp plug-in the solution works. I'll try to figure out why.

Re: Responsive Webhelp Footer

I think I used it correctly, but instead of being pushed to the bottom of the page, the footer is even more in the middle of the page than before.

We are using a customized WebHelp Responsive. Can I give any more input?

Customizing the PDF file name on output

Hi,

is there a way to specify a custom file name for the PDF dependent on the selected transformation scenario?

Currently, the PDF have the file name of the main ditamap.

I would have hoped to find this option here:

WebHelp Responsive: Improve Search function (incremental search)

Hi, hope you had a good journey back home after the TC World conference. I've got a feature request regarding the search function of the WebHelp Responsive. I would like the search to make suggestions while typing and also give suggestions even when the search term was spelled wrong. So just like Go...

Re: Changing the Related Link order - "topic name "on page" "page number"

Thanks for pointing me to the right place. I have managed to put the related links in the right order. But I struggle with getting this fix applied for only certain languages (Japanese in this case). I tried to work with when/otherwise, but it doesn't put out what I'd like to. My plan is to apply my...

Re: WebHelp Responsive: Changing Figure Title Style

Sorry for the late reply. But thanks, all worked fine! For step 1, I edited the dita2htmllmpl.xsl file instead to remove the "Figure" caption. Adding a new plug-in to our custom framework and then triggering the DITA-OT Integrator caused too many side effects. For step 2, I chose the XSLT approach. ...

WebHelp Responsive: Changing Figure Title Style

Hi, by default, the WebHelp Responsive output puts the figure titles above the image and puts a number in front of the title: Figure 1. Project window What I would like to do: 1. Figure title without number ( Project window ) 2. Figure title below image For step 1, I thought I could use the args.fig...

Re: Customizing WebHelp Responsive: Menu left / All chapters in TOC

I will register this requirement in our issue tracking system to be implemented in a future oXygen version. I think we could add a parameter that allows you to customize the side TOC generation: - an option to generate also all chapters(topics) from the first level; - an option to generate only the...

Re: WebHelp Responsive: Related Links as one category

Thank your for the suggestion. I tried that solution and it works. However, all our documentation content uses the <linkpool> element, the authors are used to it. Is there a way to change the output in another way without having to switch from linkpool to linklist? If not, I need to evaluate the eff...

WebHelp Responsive: Procedure, Example, After Completing This Task, etc. titles missing

Some auto-texts are not available in the WebHelp (Responsive) output. For example, Procedure, After Completing This Task, Example, Prerequisite, Result. In our PDFs, we have those texts and the authors rely on them when phrasing sentences. In the WebHelp Repsonsive output, the corresponding elements...

WebHelp Responsive: Related Links as one category

Hi,

is there a way to avoid having the related links separated by topic type (concept, task, reference)?

I'd rather have one "Related links" section with all related links in it instead of "Related reference", "Related task", "Related concept".

Thank you,

Benjamin

Re: Customizing WebHelp Responsive: Menu left / All chapters in TOC

I didn't get far with trying to modify the 'generateSideToc' template.

Can you point me to the template that generates the main page toc (which includes all ditamaps)? Maybe this will help me figure this out.

Re: WebHelp Responsive: Custom CSS as addition to default CSS

Hm, I did it like you said, but it doesn't work. The WebHelp Responsive output does not take the custom CSS into account. args.copycss is set to "yes" by default. The custom CSS is not mentioned in the output files and the custom CSS file is also not copied into the output folder. If I copy the cont...

WebHelp Responsive: Custom CSS as addition to default CSS

Hello, we have created a custom template for our WebHelp Reponsive output (Oxygen 18.0.1). I would like to leave the default CSS untouched and have the things we want to change in a second CSS file, that we add via the args.css parameter. But it doesn't work like that, it seems. Is the args.css file...

Re: Webhelp Responsive interface not localized

I just installed the 18.0.1 to check the localization. We are using a customized framework, so I tried to diff our framework with the 18.0.1 framework. I copied all changes I found in the DITA-OT\plugins\com.oxygenxml.webhelp folder to our customized webhelp folder. This is not enough, it seems. The...

Re: WebHelp Responsive: Place index in TOC (no "book" icon anymore)

Hi Radu,

thanks for the links.

We are using the WebHelp Responsive output. My intention is to get rid of the Index Terms Links button (with the book icon). Instead, I want to have the link to the Index page in the table of contents menu. Like we do in our PDFs.

WebHelp Responsive: Place index in TOC (no "book" icon anymore)

Hi,

the last chapter of our PDFs is always the index. Now with WebHelp, the index is not located in the TOC, but can be accessed via clicking the book icon.

Is there a way to handle the index like any ditamap and place it in the TOC?

Ah nice, waiting for the maintenance version then. It's like you said. The "Print this page" string was the one I always checked.

Also thanks for registering the rating system request.
