Re: WebHelp Responsive: Shared topics not linked correctly

Is there a fix in sight for this? Some topics in our WebHelp look very weird because of it. It makes navigation past those shared topics very difficult.

Re: WebHelp Responsive: Procedure, Example, After Completing This Task, etc. titles missing

Great, this works. I did the changes in the DITA-OT (not 2.x) folder that we are using. I didn't know that the example title was exclusive to the taskbody. Doesn't seem that logical to me, since the example element is available in the refbody and conbody as well. Anyway, glad to have it now. Thank y...

Re: WebHelp Responsive: Procedure, Example, After Completing This Task, etc. titles missing

Overlooked your answer and question, sorry.

Yes, we would like to have the title everytime, we are using the example element. For example, in the conbody of a concept topic.

Re: WebHelp Responsive: Procedure, Example, After Completing This Task, etc. titles missing

Sorry for pushing this again.

Can you think of a way to also make the "Example" title appear? We would like to highlight examples in the same way as "Note", "Important", or "Tip".

Re: WebHelp Responsive: Translation of breadcrumb string "Home"

Thank you for your help.

I just ran the DITA OT Integrator transformation for another reason and just realized that this has also added the "Home" string to the language string files. Before that, I didn't see them there. Now I got it.

WebHelp Responsive: Translation of breadcrumb string "Home"

Hi, we would like to use the breadcrumb links in our WebHelp Responsive output. The "Home" link that is generated, is always called "Home", no matter the output language. I found the file where this happens (navigationLinks.xsl) but am not sure what the best method would be to have this string trans...

Author View: Feature differentiation GUI bug

Hi, a really tiny GUI bug. Nevertheless, one of our authors was confused by it and that's why I think its worth reporting. When setting a feature differentiation for an element that is inside another element and then using the Profiling/Conditional Text filter, the end tag of the surrounding element...

Re: Changing location of skin.css file

I'm afraid we need to be able to set an absolute path to a CSS file.

Is there a way to implement a line into the <head> of the HTML-output of each topic?

WebHelp Responsive: Shared topics not linked correctly

Hello, there is a bug in the WebHelp Responsive output in Oxygen Editor 18.1 (build 2016112217). I have a ditamap that contains several sub-ditamaps. And I have a topic that must appear at two different locations in the operation manual. So the same topic is linked in sub_ditamap_a and sub_ditamap_b...

You are right, it wasn't checked. Thanks! It works now. Makes the Refactoring tool much more useful.

Re: WebHelp Responsive: Related Links as one category

Thanks for posting the procedure. I just got around to try this out, but ended up getting an error. An error I get often when I try to use the XML Refactoring. I used to think that I am not using the tool correctly, but maybe it's something else. Here is what I did (after the first part of your expl...

Re: Changing location of skin.css file

Thanks for you answer. That's disappointing then. Maintaining multiple WebHelp outputs will require a lot of manual work if we have to replace files in each output.

Could we maybe use the args.cssroot paramter for this?

XML Refactoring produces inconsistent End of Line (EOL) style

Hi, our SVN only allows to commit files with consistent end of line styles. Normally, this is the Windows EOL. When I use the XML Refactoring tool, I can't commit the changed files anymore afterwards. This is because it seems that the tool adds inconsistent line endings to our XML files. Can somebod...

Hi, we use the WebHelp Responsive to release WebHelp manuals for several of our products. At the moment, each product has its own skin.css file that is located in the webhelp template folder of each product. Is it possible to make the output look at another location for the skin.css file? I think I used it correctly, but instead of being pushed to the bottom of the page, the footer is even more in the middle of the page than before.

We are using a customized WebHelp Responsive. Can I give any more input?

Customizing the PDF file name on output

Hi,

is there a way to specify a custom file name for the PDF dependent on the selected transformation scenario?

Currently, the PDF have the file name of the main ditamap.

I would have hoped to find this option here:

Thanks for pointing me to the right place. I have managed to put the related links in the right order. But I struggle with getting this fix applied for only certain languages (Japanese in this case). Re: WebHelp Responsive: Changing Figure Title Style

Sorry for the late reply. But thanks, all worked fine! For step 1, I edited the dita2htmllmpl.xsl file instead to remove the "Figure" caption. Adding a new plug-in to our custom framework and then triggering the DITA-OT Integrator caused too many side effects. For step 2, I chose the XSLT approach. ...

Re: Customizing WebHelp Responsive: Menu left / All chapters in TOC

I will register this requirement in our issue tracking system to be implemented in a future oXygen version. I think we could add a parameter that allows you to customize the side TOC generation: - an option to generate also all chapters(topics) from the first level; - an option to generate only the...
