Re: DITA table layout

Dear Namita,

Probably when Oxygen is bundled with various IBM solutions, the publishing engine is customized in various ways. Maybe you could ask somebody from IBM about this.

Re: Class Loader problem while debugging 18.1 in eclipse

Hi, I managed to reproduce the same problem when I modified my Maven "settings.xml" to its default content. We'll look into updating the steps in our SDK web site page. In the meantime, in your user's home there should be a .m2 folder (for example on my machine it's located in C:\Users\rad...

Re: Validate with Schematron in Git pre-push hook?

Hi John, Performing various validation asserts depending on a certain file's creation date does not seem like a good choice for me. Files may be copied, and then the original creation date is no longer maintained. Maybe you could mark the old files (or the new ones) with some kind of processing inst...

Re: Class Loader problem while debugging 18.1 in eclipse

Hi Nico, With Oxygen 18.1, the "LateDelegationClassLoader" is inside the main "oxygen.jar" but it's probably obfuscated. Can you give me the entire exception stack trace you obtain now? Are you using our Maven-based SDK to develop your plugin? I'm assuming it's the SDK for Oxygen...

Re: Class Loader problem while debugging 18.1 in eclipse

Hi, I think that right now the problem is that "oxygen-basic-utilities.jar" (like all other JAR libraries from Oxygen 20.1) is compiled with Java 1.8 compatibility but you are running the debug Java process with Java 1.7 or 1.6. Oxygen 18.1 was compiled with Java 1.6 and can be run using J...

Re: Wrap/unwrap selected text in an element

Hi Drew, I agree the "Delete Element Tags" should behave better in this situation, it's an action we thought will be used more for XML elements and not for XML comments. I usually use in this particular case our "Toggle Comment" action (Command-Shift-Comma). It allows you to comm...

Re: Elements are only converted in FO/PDF output, not HTML

Hi Marvin, I think you would really benefit from attending the DITA OT Day conference. Also it's free, you get free breakfast and lunch and you get to talk to the main DITA Open Toolkit developers and to DITA-OT consultants or to people using the DITA-OT in their company. If you manage to obtain per...

Hi Marvin, The DITA Open Toolkit documentation contains an example for adding an XSLT extension point for the XHTML output: http://www.dita-ot.org/dev/topics/plugin-overridestyle.html#ariaid-title1 We'll host the DITA Open Toolkit Day in about a week in Rotterdam: https://www.oxygenxml.com/events/20...

Re: Transform scenarios and profiling settings missing (reset to default)

Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by importing an XPR file, do you mean that you opened it in the Project view? If you still have your old XPR project file, just open it in the Oxygen Project view and see if your transformation scenarios show up. Whenever you use the "Transformation Scenarios"...

Re: Avoid Pipeline in Eclipse debug mode

Hi,

This forum is for Oxygen XML Editor related problems. Oxygen XML Editor is an Eclipse plugin which adds support to edit XML documents and to transform them using XSLT stylesheets. Our plugin does not add to the Eclipse workbench an XML Pipelines feature.

Re: Severe performance issues in Author mode when using CSS

Hi, By a complete CSS I meant a CSS which adds styles for all TEI elements. Indeed it seems your CSS would need to be used in addition to the base TEI CSSs provided by Oxygen. So you should change that radio button setting in the TEI framework configuration to merge your custom CSS with the default ...

Usually in such cases you should construct a DITA DTD specialization plugin (with custom public and system ID mappings for all your topics). In this particular case, instead of changing the DITA DTDs to set a default attribute value for ...

We have a free add-on for Oxygen which does that: https://github.com/oxygenxml/oxygen-resources-converter Once you convert a Markdown file to a DITA topic you can use the predefined support in Oxygen to p...
