Re: Font rendering issue in Author Mode

Hi, So: Yes, I am using a custom CSS. I tried to use oXygen's Stock style-sheet from the Styles menu on the oXygen toolbar and it seems to be working for me. Could you please tell me, how to make a particular style-sheet a default style-sheet for Author mode? If I am able to do this, I guess this wi...

Re: normalize-space and processing-instruction

Hi, Sorry for using your actual name, as an admin I can see your email address, I edited my previous post to remove your name reference. About your problem, seeing more of the XSLT you have might help me understand it better. Basically when applying XSLT over the <title> element, it has 5 child elem...

Re: Font rendering issue in Author Mode

Hi Tushar, Couple of things: 1) Could you also try to install our latest Oxygen 19.1 (in a separate location on disk) and see if it works better? You could try to get a trial license key if your license does not cover it. 2) Could you also send me a screenshot with how the "Preferences->Fonts&q...

Re: normalize-space and processing-instruction

Hi E, Here's the specification for the normalize-space XSLT function: https://www.w3.org/TR/xpath-functions/#func-normalize-space Returns the value of $arg with leading and trailing whitespace removed, and sequences of internal whitespace reduced to a single space character. so that's what it does, ...

Re: XSLT which output non-xml text in XProc

Hi, I don't think there is a way to overcome this without wrapping your output text in an XML tag, you should read this part of the XProc specs: https://www.w3.org/TR/xproc/#binary I think that right now they are working on the XProc 3.0 standard which may have the support you want but I'm not sure....

Hi, About this remark: In addition, I hope the I can right click the element in xml file, the editor will popup a context menu. Re: Can I define custom function in XSLT for XPath Builder?

From what I looked in our code we could possibly add a contextual menu action on each result node to also open the original XML document from which the node was loaded and navigate to the node line...

Re: $ask

Hi Lionel,

I can reproduce both these problems on our side, they look like bugs to me so I'll add internal issues for them.
We plan to release Oxygen 20 in about a month so we might not be able to fix them until then though.
But most probably in Oxygen 20.1, this Autumn.

Re: Can I define custom function in XSLT for XPath Builder?

Hi,

If you create an XQuery document and for it create a transformation scenario, in the "Output" tab of the transformation scenario config dialog you have the option to "Present as a sequence".

Re: Is it possiable to make Content-Completion support inline/embedded language?

Maybe one possibility would be for you to add a custom side view which would show the CSS or javascript fragment for the current element, allow editing it with enhanced support using your own code and then you could modify the XML docume...

Re: Can I define custom function in XSLT for XPath Builder?

Unfortunately once your custom Java method will be responsible with returning the nodes which are further used by the XPath expression, Oxygen can no longer localize the results. And we do not have a workaround for this. Maybe instead of using our XPath v...

Hi Lin, TEI documents have the namespace "http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" so on the "xsl:stylesheet" root element you should add this attribute: xpath-default-namespace="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" and also when you output the modified XML element use "xsl:copy"...

Re: Protecting project files (xpr) among team

Hi Mike,

Indeed right now we save associations between XML documents and the default scenarios used to publish them at project level. We are considering to change this in a future version.
Until then indeed as you are using SVN you can decide to lock the XPR.

Re: Clean up .xpr project files

Hi, I'm not sure if the "Unable to save" messages relate to the size of the XPR, most probably they do not. So first you should check if the XPR is in a folder which has write permissions and if it is not marked as read-only in the file system. You can also try to drag and drop it to the O...

Hi Boris, So what we did on the "Copy location" from the opened XML document tab is that if you paste the location inside Oxygen (in an XSLT for example) you will get an URL pointing to it but if you paste it in another application (outside of Oxygen) you get a file path. So maybe the &quo...

Re: Distinct file location formats

Hi,

I think it's an inconsistency and most probably the file path D:\Test\Conversion.xml is more useful to you than the URL path. So we'll probably change the "Copy location" for the project to yield the same result as the one from the opened XML document tab.

So if you implement a workspace access plugin for Oxygen: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/19.1/ug-editor/topics/workspace-access-plugin.html You can add a menus and toolbars customizer: ro.sync.exml.workspace.api.standalone.StandalonePluginWorkspace....
