Re: Remove multiline comments

Hi Samba, The regular expression example I gave you matches content multi line. About using an array like structure, you probably need to use a programming language like Java, apply the regexp in the Java code and keep the results in an array for further processing. Maybe you can ask around on Stack...

Hi,

An example of an XML refactoring action which moves an element as a child of its preceding sibling can be found here:

Re: DITA Publishing - Glossary & References

Hi David, is it possible to filter a DITA file directly from a DITAMap or BookMap (meaning for example calling the same DITA file several times in a single Map, with different filters, resulting in different sections in the final output)? The profinling is made on the whole Map at the processing sta...

Hi Chris, So: Reenabling all frameworks results in responsive SVG display in the editor when opening topics (hooray!). Great, you do not need to disable frameworks, you will not gain any performance improvement by doing so. However, I still see the following messages in the PDF Chemistry log file, a...

Hi David, What you did as a customization for DocBook can probably (with some effort) be also done for DITA publishing. Hi David, Here's how people using DITA with abbreviated forms usually work: https://www.oxygenxml.com/dita/1.3/specs/langRef/technicalContent/abbreviated-form.html 1) You define a glossentry DITA topic file containing the abbreviated definition and explanation: <glossentry id="abs-definition"> <glos...

Hi,

For example in Oxygen's Find/replace dialog you can enable the regular expression support and then search for:

Code: Select all

/\*([\s\S]*?)\*\/
and replace with nothing.

We do not have a predefined refactoring action for moving content but you can create your own XML refactoring actions b...

Re: SVGs sometimes show "www.w3.org:80 failed to respond"

Hi Chris, I have a hunch (based on various sample projects I received from you) that in the Oxygen Preferences->"Document Type Association" page you unchecked the "SVG" framework configuration. The "SVG" framework configuration comes with an XML catalog which maps remote referenced DTDs like "http:/...

Hi Ann, On that older forum post my suggestion was about making changes to the XSLTs in the "org.dita.xhtml" plugin. About 1-2 years ago our WebHelp started to be based on the "org.dita.html5" plugin which has similar XSLT stylesheets. So you would either need to make a change in the stylesheets for...

Hi Carl, Sorry about that, the <linklist><desc> approach does not seem to properly work with our WebHelp output. I added an issue to investigate this on our side. So let's try this approach: 1) In the DITA topic you have a related link at the end (to a concept file): <related-links> <link href="../c...
