Re: Allowing external XML/RNG file to dictate optional content for web custom framework

Hello, The error says the values file cannot be found in your framework. The quick-est workaround is to create such a file (with no choices for example). The problem seems to be in the way oXygen executes XPath expressions. I expected that the XPath expression is not evaluated if the CSS rule does n...

Hello, I would be more interested in which SVN server you are using instead of which client. Finding this out might involve talking to your SVN server administrator. Knowing this helps us proposing a solution for you. Yes, you can write on our support email address: support@oxygenxml.com. Best, Cris...

Re: Advice on use of source control with DITA and Oxygen

Hello, Web Author works with some SVN servers. Namely, those who have WebDAV support with "Autoversioning". Which server are you using? In case it works, SMEs can basically open files directly from your SVN repository. When a SME saves a file using Web Author, a new version of the file is ...

Re: Allowing external XML/RNG file to dictate optional content for web custom framework

Hello, It is much simpler if "entity_type" is an element. You cannot style an attribute, you can only style an element which has that attribute and "oxy-name" returns the name of the element. Here is the setup that worked for me. This is the edited XML file: <?xml-stylesheet type...

Re: Multiple custom frameworks not being detected

Hello, When you are creating the frameworks, the first Tab in the "Document type" dialog contains some association rules. Those rules dictate which files belong to which framework. I suspect you have the same association rules for both frameworks, this way only one of them is used when ope...

Re: Allowing external XML/RNG file to dictate optional content for web custom framework

Hello, If you want to also receive validation errors for values that are not among the specified ones (perhaps introduced by editing in text-mode), you can use a Schematron schema besides the RNG one that you already have. The following Schematron file should validate element values against the valu...

Re: Allowing external XML/RNG file to dictate optional content for web custom framework

Hello, As far as I understand you want element values to be controlled by an XML file. This file resides by default in the frameworks folder, but engineers should be able to override it by placing an XML values configuration file in the same folder (on Sharepoint) as the edited XML document. I propo...

Hello, You may want to set the default spellchecking language. Otherwise the server language is used. You can do this by updating the options.xml file to set it to English for example. Unfortunately, the dirty flag is designed to be a client-side feature. However, we were able to make use of it in a variety of situations.

Can you describe your use-case in more details? Maybe we can find a workaround.
