Re: Is Enterprise edition needed for DITA documentation

Hello, Yes, you are correct. The only functional difference between the Professional and Enterprise editions of <oXygen/> XML is that the Enterprise one also offers support for commercial databases (Mark Logic, IBM DB2, Oracle 10.2, X-Hive/DB, Microsoft SQL Server) and Documentum CMS integration. Th...

Re: "Double-Click Timeout" setting in Ubuntu ineffective in Oxygen

Hello, Please note that this issue is not strictly related to oXygen XML Editor. It seems that is a Linux X11 bug, due to some issue between the X Window System and the Java Virtual Machine timeout setting for double-click. However, a workaround has been found for that, as you could see if you visit...

Re: Viewing multiple documents at the same time

Hi, In order to benefit of those tiling actions you should first make sure that you are in the correct perspective. This is because those actions work only for the Editor and Database perspectives . They are NOT available for the XSLT or XQuery Debugger perspectives - where I guess you might be in r...

Re: ui editor for schema/DTD

Hello, Yes, oXygen has a Design view that allows the user to visually edit an XML schema (XSD). oXygen's Design view makes it easy to add schema components, reorganize them using Drag & Drop , edit the components in place and so on. A very useful video demonstration which shows how to create and wor...

Re: Where's the WSDL SOAP Analyser menu item / button?

Hello, Thank you for reporting this. Please note that the document you have mentioned is the Oxygen XML Editor user manual, but you said you are using oXygen XML Author . Note that the WSDL SOAP Analyzer tool is not available in oXygen XML Author, as the WSDL support is not intended for the authorin...

Re: Values in XPath results as separate column

Hello, After applying an XPath, if you click a result from the results view, the appropriate node corresponding to the XPath will be selected, therefore you could easily copy it, or you could copy its XPath location, using the context menu > Copy XPath. Also, if you right click an item in the result...

Re: Tear-off results pane?

Hello, Indeed, moving the results around in oXygen is not currently possible. The result position was intentionally kept fixed, for visibility concerns. That's because some users could move or even hide the view by mistake and therefore would not have been able to find it anymore. However, we consid...

Hello, Actually, it is already possible to directly generate the XSLT from a Schematron (.sch) file. Re: List of supported CSS features?

Hello, Indeed, the "height" attribute is ignored, whilst for the visual part oXygen considers the "width" attribute instead. This can be noticed also from the list of the CSS 2.1 Properties subsection in oXygen User-Guide, at: http://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/ug-editor/#references/dg-properties-support....

Re: Debuggers broken in Eclipse

Hello,

Please note that oXygen v14 is not yet compatible with Eclipse v4.2.
This compatibility issue will be solved most probably starting with the next oXygen version v14.1.

Until then, you should try using the 3.7.2 version of Eclipse, which officialy supports oXygen v14.
