Re: XSLT validation scenario with Saxon initializer class

Hi Patrik,

I agree. Having a Saxon configuration inside the validation scenario itself is the proper way to handle such situations. I've also added an issue for this feature but it's not going to make it in version 19 (development is currently frozen).

Best regards,
Alex

Re: XSLT validation scenario with Saxon initializer class

Hi Patrik, Currently you can't set Saxon options in a validation scenario. In the version 19 (to be released in mid April) though, things will be better: we will detect the transformation scenario associated with the master and we will use it when validation. All you will have to do in the validatio...

Re: Replacing hints styles with custom hints

Hi, Yes, it is possible. You'll have to change hints.css and specify a remote location for the hints file: hints { content: oxy_htmlContent(href, 'http://www.oxygenxml.com/hints.html', id, "div_id", width, 100%); } You could probably use the Find/Replace dialog to change all occurrences (t...

Re: ouput.log is in protected folder

Hi Richard, I was thinking that there would be a place where I could set the location of output.log, but you don't mention being able to do that. I didn't say anything about that because I don't know who tries to write to this output.log file. Are you saying that something that I wrote is trying to ...

Re: ouput.log is in protected folder

Hi Richard, So inside the Schematron you are writing log data inside the output.log file. When someone opens a document inside oxygen that document is automatically validated (without the user even knowing). Because of that we run the validation in a sandbox and we don't allow certain actions, like ...

Re: CSS for a dropdown

Hi Mounika, Unfortunately, with the built-in form controls that's not possible. In theory, using selectors you can distinguish between these situations. For example: <root> <x>xxxx</x> <x>xxxx<title>yyyy</title></x> </root> x:after { content: oxy_combobox(edit, '@a'); } x:has(title):after { content:...

Re: How to search json document using xquery and output results

Hi, Oxygen doesn't have a built-in engine for processing Json with XQuery. If the JSON is stored inside MarkLogic then you can create an XQuery, run it against the server and, in the context of the server, that query can process JSON. On the Oxygen side, you will create an XQuery transformation and ...

Re: CSS for a dropdown

Dear Mounika, Have you tried putting the form control on an "after" element? Like this: x:after(5) { content: oxy_combobox( edit, "@outputclass", editable, false, labels, "collapsed, expanded, static" values, "collapsed, expanded, static", columns, 9, fontInhe...

Re: Configuring Proposed Values in the Context that the Content Completion was Invoked - SAXON

Hi Johann, In theory the XSLT should run just fine with Saxon-HE (which is available in the Author Component) as long as the XSLT doesn't use any functionality available only in the PE/EE versions. If you would need access to the element for which the CC was invoked, you will run into this issue (be...

Re: Action ToggleSurroundWithElementOperation inconsistent

Hi, Please make sure that your action uses the ro.sync.ecss.extensions.commons.operations.ToggleSurroundWithElementOperation operation because only this operation knows how to wrap/unwrap. I suspect that your action is currently using ro.sync.ecss.extensions.commons.operations.SurroundWithFragmentOp...

Re: element insertion with custom pseudo class

Hello, It should work. Does your second action (the one that sets the pseudo class) have an activation XPath? If you have then that might be the cause. All the activation XPaths are tested (wrongfully) at the beginning of the compound action. We fixed this in the current development stream and the f...

Re: How to search json document using xquery and output results

Hi, To execute this inside Oxygen there are two possibilities: 1. Use the XPath/XQuery Builder . On the top of the view select the MarkLogic connection as the engine that will execute the queries. paste the query and execute it. 2. If you put the query inside an XQuery editor then you need to create...

Re: writing test cases for xquery

Hi, Unfortunately I don't have much experience with writing tests fro XQuery. We only integrated the XSLT testing part into Oxygen. I think that what differs from an XSLT test is that you'll have to use the @query attribute on the root to refer the tested query. <x:description xmlns:x="http://w...

Re: How to print query statement being executed by cts:search

Hi, From the cts:search documentation I see that they recommend using xdmp:query-trace(true()) . Calling this before the cts:search() will print logging information to the error log. The error log location is system dependent . Unfortunately, from Oxygen, the only way to see these logs is to: 1. pre...

Re: writing test cases for xquery

Hi, XSpec can be used to write test scenarios for both XSLT and XQuery (and from its documentation I see that it also supports MarkLogic ). The latest release is 0.5.0 . Oxygen supports XSpec (mostly for XSLT but, to an extent also XQuery) so you can create and write XSpec scenarios in it. To run th...

Re: xdmp:document-insert --error

Hi, The different behavior might be explained if Oxygen and Marklogic's query console use AppServers that have different default xquery version. For an Xquery 1.0 the query should be: let $a1 := xdmp:unquote("<a><b>bbb</b></a>") return xdmp:document-insert("/vk/test/example.xml",...

Re: Custom framework, xpr files, and code templates

Hi, Unfortunately, Code Templates can't be set from a framework. If there aren't many of them you could create author actions instead. An author action is just a configuration that is kept inside the framework itself. You can contribute these actions inside the content completion window or you can p...

Re: oxy_xpath with doc() in css, or force an action from oxy_combobox

Hi Doug,

I'm glad you found the culprit! So because the XPath is invoked inside the context of the main file, when it jumps inside "ocm.xml" it keeps the default namespace... Not what you'd expect... I'll have to investigate a bit more.
