George,
I've emailed you a word document with some screen shots, with java syntax colouring preserved when cut and pasting between eclipse and Word.
Let me know if you need more info.
Thanks

colored syntax in cut and paste
Thanks for the PDF info.
That said, to go back to syntax colouring, I have noticed that the java editor in Eclipse preserves the syntax coloring when cut and pasting to a OLE application, but the Oxygen plugin does not.
I want to live in a world of colors!

displaying XML in external documents
Dear Oxygen, I am trying to display some XML fragment in a word document, and I am hitting the following problems. - First of all, a simple cut and paste only gives me plain text XML, rather than a nice colored syntax. - I've tried to be clever and print to a PDF file, with the intent of copying fro...

indent on past problem
Hello there. Just noticed a small problem (bug?) with the indent on past option, which is slightly annoying when editing my javascript nodes. When editing the following example template, with 'indent on paste' turned ON. pasting anything in the function body will cause the line to be indented under ...

My particular problem with transformation scenarios (scenarii?) is that there is no way to organise them. Not all my scenarios apply to all all my XML files and vice-versa. The current behaviour doesn't map to my way of working. When editing a given XSL, I'd like to have a list of scenarios that is ...

Read-only flag indicator + source control hook
Hello there. I have been forced to move my code to Visual Source Safe, but now I wish Oxygen could be made VSS friendly. VSS locks files that are not checked out, by making them read only. 1) Could the read-only status of a file be indicated in some way in the editor, before any editing happens? A p...

SmartMove seems to be a logitech mouseware option (see http://tinyurl.com/b6nr4). But I don't think this has any link to my problemIn the Mouse properties dialog of my Windows 2000 I can find double click speed, motion speed, acceleration, but I can't find Smart Move.

If you run <oXygen/> on Windows, is the ClickLock mouse feature enabled in Control Panel -> Mouse properties and the lock time is set to be very short ? Click lock is not an available option on my mouse properties. I do have the speed set to one tick faster than the average, and I have Acceleration...

reproducing the problem
I am getting better at reproducing this, althought it sometime happens more often than other. For info, I use a standalone oXygen 7.0 on windows 2000. 1) I open loads (6+) of files at the same time. 2) I open a mixture of xml, xsl and wsdl files at the same time (can't figure out if that's a factor)...

xml:space autocomplete
I have just noticed that one some elements where xml:space is a valid attribute, it doesn't appear in the autocompletion drop down list, whereas xml:lang does. I am not sure about the actual rule, but I think it is along the line of "unless additional attributes are forbidden by the XSD or DTD,...

First of all, I have just noticed the new wonderful CSS validation feature in v7, awesome (as that skateboard dud would say). But now that my CSS is spotless, how can I control its format? I like to have my classes like this: td.clsTableTypeTwoTotalAmount { font-weight : bold !important; border : no...

tabbed windows all over the place
Slightly annoying, but hard to pin down. Since using version 7 (as opposed to the version just before it), I have noticed that from time to time, a tabbed window will suddenly float to its own frame, either on the side, or bottom of the frame where I normally open all my files. Or like today, when o...

completion hints stops paste operation
Let's say I want to cut and paste namespace attributes from one XM document to another: when clicking in the root element of the target document, Oxygen 7.0 helpfully pops up a list of possible attributes. If I then try to paste (ctrl+V), nothing happens, and I get frustrated... Yes, I know I can ri...

I'm a Xalan user, so I'll switch to Xalan (I thought I had already) for the validation. One of the beauty (among many) of oxygen is that it allows me to run the exact same processing than my own application, without the burden of going through an entire request/Response round trip. This has saved me...

Radu, I am no longer sure this is an error: the validation error only occurs when I have xml:space="preserve" on the template (or the node) <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <xsl:transform xmlns:fo="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Format" xmlns:xsl="http:...

Have you tried wrap-option="wrap"?
I am still an FO newby, but with apache FOP 0.90: I have found that wrap-option="wrap" does the trick. It also seem that wrap is the default, so I don't actually need to specify it. Look also at linefeed-treatment="preserve" | "ignore" and hyphenate="false" or...

FO indentation/pretty print
Another minor but still annoying problem. It seems that Oxygen is very shy when it comes to pretty printing FO documents, or XSL containg fo: elements. I understand that for some elements, you need to preserve the formatting, but I don't see why my <fo:block/> should not be properly lined up. Of cou...

On a similar line, there are other installer problem (on a windows 2000 system) which are mildly annoying: - each new version of oxygen is intalled under a different name / folder, which cause all my shortcuts to oxygen to become invalidated (or worse, I keep using the old version without noticing. ...

Hiya,
is there a way to see whatever trace/logging messages are output by the underlying FOP processor?
Where is the System.out or System.err of the underlying libraries used by Oxygen directed to?
Cheers

do these exist somewhere or should I create my own?

I have just noticed that it is possible for the WSDL analyser to complain about the WSDL Document contains errors. WSDL Analysis may not be accurate. Continue? but not be told exactly what was wrong. In my case, the WSDL is not bad enough to cause the analysis to fail if I decide to continue, so I s...
