Re: oXygen (+ git add-on?) seem to modify files unasked
Hi Sorin,
No, no chance, I'm sorry about that -- I don't touch Windows and can't think of whom I could ask for such a test (gonna think some more).
Best,
Piotr

oXygen (+ git add-on?) seem to modify files unasked
Hi all, do forgive this somewhat sketchy report and an unusual test suite. I'm seeing some kind of issue connected to the git add-on, but it doesn't come up for all repositories. I observed it in the last last 26.0 build for linux, with its corresponding git add-on, and today I see the same under 26...

Re: git add-on: invalid SSH passphrase (and logging)
Dear Alex,
Thanks so much for this! Will try it out as soon as I get back to that task (and that repository).

git add-on: invalid SSH passphrase (and logging)
I use my institute's git repo with the git add-on, and up till recently (modulo my post-pandemic comings and goings , which is to say that I am not sure what "recently" stands for, precisely), everything was fine but now, the add-on keeps telling me that the "previous SSH passphrase w...

default database context for collection()
I work with BaseX but would love to be able to edit all my queries with oXygen. However, I do not know how to emulate the "current database context" (which is automatically set by BaseX to the currently open database) inside oXygen. The immediate problem is that if I run collection() in Ba...

(manual) Saxon update?
Hi, I wouldn't like to mess up by trying, so I figured it would be safer to ask here: since the current (13.2) version of oXygen uses Saxon 9.3.0.5, while the current Saxon version is 9.4.0.2, and I'd like to get as up-to-date support for XQuery 3.0 as I can, is it feasible to download the current S...

Re: set default XPath version in XPath builder
Sorin, thanks for the response. If the default version in my installation now were 2.0, I would be quite happy. But for some reason it is 1.0 and I always need to remember to reset it. But it's good to know you are considering adding the extra functionality to the "options" menu. Best rega...

Re: Multiple docs open
I'd like to add that I find this behaviour rather annoying as well. It cost me reopening accidentally closed tabs or just getting confused sometimes. And clicky-clicking to the last-but-one tab. There is a way around this: repeat Ctrl-Tab twice. But it just doesn't look right, it is so very counteri...

set default XPath version in XPath builder
Wondering if this is something I simply overlooked. But I can't find a place where I could set the default version of XPath used in the XPath Builder. This is something I always need to set manually, and it gets irritating after a while. There is a nice place for this setting, under Options/XML/XPat...

Re: "more/less" in the Search-and-Replace dialog
Hi Sorin, Yes, I use the "quick find" or F3 after I have defined more options in the full dialog, I find them very useful, thanks. But when you want to do supervised replacements, you (AFAIK) have to keep the dialog open. I do not suggest hiding the buttons -- just a switch that is often m...

"more/less" in the Search-and-Replace dialog
I would be good to be able to reduce the size of the S&R dialog after having set all the necessary parameters. Sometimes the dialog stands in the way, and you have to move it around in order to see more of the context. Hiding the "direction/scope/options" part would cut the size by som...

let Find-and-Replace (All) count replacements made
It would be nice to know how many replacements have been performed after hitting "replace all" in the F&R dialog. Especially with regexes, this can sometimes be useful diagnostic information.
Thanks,
Piotr

closing tags modified when 1st letter of the content typed
This seems akin to the problem reported in http://www.oxygenxml.com/forum/topic3007.html "xml element tags modified when 1st letter of attribute typed" - I get similar behaviour when renaming tags in Oxygen 10. create a text element with no attributes in the opening tag backspace the openi...
