Re: Linking term to glossary item in glossgroup
Hi Miriam, You can find a more detailed discussion about this subject in another thread on our forum . In short, this is a known issue already reported to DITA-OT . The validation process should fail (actually this has already been fixed in the current Oxygen development branch and will be available...

Re: create more than one tasks in a task topic
Hi Catherine, In the example you provided from our userguide we used a structure based on sections inside a topic, like in the following example: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE topic PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD DITA Topic//EN" "topic.dtd"> <topic> ...

Re: How to add a customized PDF cover
Hi Catherine, Prince XML (as well as Antenna House) is a third-party PDF processor that you can use with our built-in WYSIWYG transformation scenario, but if you want to use either of them, I suggest that you contact them directly and ask for details regarding pricing, licensing, and usage. Since yo...

Re: How to add a customized PDF cover
Hi Catherine, One of my colleagues wrote a small example that customizes a PDF cover page (background image, logo, and title), so you can use this as a starting point for your project: Go to https://github.com/radu-pisoi/com.oxygenxml.pdf.css.customization.sample and download the sample project as a...

Re: Images fail to appear in ODT output
Hi Bill, I tried to reproduce the problem using Oxygen 19.0 (build id 2017033118), built-in DITA-OT 1.8, built-in Flowers DITA project, built-in DITA Map ODF transformation scenario. I opened the generated ODT file with Apache OpenOffice Writer and it worked just fine. Please try to replicate my tes...

Re: How can ordered list have 4 level lists?
Hi Lisa, Tasks are topic specializations meant to express simple, concise instructions. Probably this is the reason why you can only use steps and substeps. As possible solutions for your problem: - a 4-level list seems to be very difficult to follow for any audience. Maybe you can rewrite the infor...

Re: Mask/mod WebHelp generated URLs
Hi, You could use the copy-to parameter set on each topicref in your ditamap. More precisely, a reference such as: <topicref href="topics/c_example_concept.dita"/> should become <topicref href="topics/c_example_concept.dita" copy-to="topics/a_completely_new_name.dita"/>...

Re: Exclude file from search result in webhelp
Hi Stefaan, The DITA Map to WebHelp transformation scenario allows you to set a parameter (namely webhelp.search.custom.excludes.file ) to an exclusion list of files. Please follow this procedure to set it: Create a simple text file that will contain your excluded file patterns. Each pattern must be...

Re: Spell check - use two dictionaries in parallel
Hi Aaron, The .tdi file is where oXygen keeps all learned words for a specific dictionary. Your solution seems like a hack and I would not recommended it. I mean, it might work, but I am worried about performance issues (I think the .tdi file was not designed to take that much load). Also oXygen mig...

Re: Spell check - use two dictionaries in parallel
Hi Aaron, Yes, there is a way to do this. You have to tell oXygen what language was used for writing a certain fragment of content. First, go to oXygen Options->Preferences menu. Use the filter to look for Spell check preferences page. Set the default language (dictionary) and check the Use "la...

Re: How do I restrict my licence?
Hi Roger, Starting with version 10, for all group licenses we supply two keys: a permanent one that should be installed on the school's computers and a one-year temporary license that can be distributed to students for their home assignments. Please contact our support team by email to receive a sol...

character-map
Hello, That is a bug in the XSLT Debugger perspective and it will be solved in a future release. As an workaround please comment all <xsl:character-map> elements in your XSLT 2.0 stylesheets when you debug them and uncomment them when doing the transformation in the Editor perspective. Regards, Bogdan
