Re: URL variables

Thank you for your suggestion.

My solution has been to create formal projects and set the output destination as:
${pd}/online/concepts.html

URL variables

I am using the same folder structure for a number of projects, and want to further automatise the transformation process using URL variables. The key files will always be located in these folders: Project/input/entries.xml Project/input/transformation.xsl Project/output/booklet.pdf I can express the...

Re: Unable to use a font - XSL-FO

After many many attempts at adjusting the configuration file, this solution worked for me when converting using the Apache FO processor in a Windows 11 environment: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <fop version="1.0"> <font-base>file:/Users/timmy/Appdata/Local/Mic...

Best practice for inserting the same XML fragment more than once

I am creating a reference work which will ultimately be organised by subjects, and each subject will contain various entries. Because of the nature of the field, I want to include some entries in more than one subject. I have been working with two XML files: one document holding all the entires (eac...

Is this supported by the current version of Oxygen XML Editor? Below is a simplified version of the XML doc...

Different editor behaviour when inserting reusable components depending on mode

I have a simple DITA project, with some standard topics and a concept containing a list of definitions. I intend to occasionally use a definition in a standard topic. Each <dlentry> in the glossary has an identifying attribute, and these definitions are visible in the DITA Reusable Components panel....

Re: XML topics in a DITA map

Thanks for your reply, Radu.

Do you agree that constructing an XML project (.xpr) with files listing entities to call on content from other files would be an alternative way to more or less achieve the same goal as a DITA map?

XML topics in a DITA map

I am creating a reference work comprising entries, organised by higher-level subjects. Each entry will take the form of an individual XML file, structured with my own custom tags. As I want to include some entries in multiple subjects, I am trying to manage the entire reference work using something ...
