Re: Combining ditavalref and conref (processing order?)

Hi, I just ran into this same problem: - Collection file contains reusable content, with two different conditions applied. - One (or more) topics reuse content from the collection file via conref. - Apply ditavalref to the map - but conditions are ignored in the output. - Select the same ditaval fil...

Controlling placement/location of footnotes in WebHelp

Hi,
In WebHelp, is there any means to change the location of footnotes in the output? So for example, rather than placing them all at the bottom of the page, could they be instead placed immediately following the table that references them?
Thanks!

Re: Using the topicref copy-to attribute with WebHelp output

Hi Radu, We may well have to resort to that, but we have some products that are very similar, so there are a *lot* of common topics that are referenced in both. Which means "re-creating" topics over and over, which from my POV goes against the spirit of what DITA should be able to provide....

Re: Using the topicref copy-to attribute with WebHelp output

Hi - we just bumped up against this issue in Oxygen 24.1 - is there a fix or workaround? We are using copy-to and keys attributes on topicrefs that point to a common topic. xref links to the 'duplicate' topics work fine in the HTML output. But if we link to content inside those 'duplicate' topics (f...

Re: Repeating rowheader in multi-page table

Hi Andrei,
Thanks very much for the reply. I should've also specified that we are using Apache FOP as the PDF engine, so not clear whether this is a limitation inherent to that.

Repeating rowheader in multi-page table

HI, I have a very long table that breaks across the page, in which the first column is set to rowheader=firstcol. This column is just effectively one long cell spanning across the other row entries in the table. However, the text in this rowheader cell appears only on the first page, but I would lik...

Re: Pasting comments from PDF with dash or quotes causes Content Fusion to crash

Since there was a new release of Content Fusion on May 26, we want to confirm that we still need to wait for an update to WebAuthor first before this issue is resolved. Is that correct? (Issue still happens in Content Fusion 5.0)

Keywords on main webhelp page

Hi folks, Is there a way to include DITA keywords for the main webhelp page? As an example, if I set "Our Software Release 10.0" as the title for my HTML map-of-maps, web searches will not automatically recognize "SW" as a valid keyword to reach the page, while they do recognize ...

Re: Pasting comments from PDF with dash or quotes causes Content Fusion to crash

Hi Mihaela, Apologies for delayed reply. (FYI, it's not clear to me what settings I need to set to get a notification email when there's a reply to an issue). At any rate, we are using UTF-8 for any new topics we create, so this will only affect some legacy content. Mildly annoying for some, but the...

Pasting comments from PDF with dash or quotes causes Content Fusion to crash

webhelp ToC navigation to chunked content

Hi, We have content that is chunked "to-content" and we are noticing that when we click a link to any of that chunked content from the left-hand ToC, the focus of the page jumps to the topic heading (scrolling past/hiding the header/menu/breadcrumbs/etc) rather than showing the full page v...

Re: Changing the copy/paste button for <codeblock> in webhelp

Hi Costin,

This doesn't seem to be working for us. Is there possibly some other class or parameter that controls the appearance of the copy/paste button? Or do you have a working example that you can share?

Thanks,
Dan
