deep-chapter-scope without numbering sections or stopping at a point
Hi, I have a couple of questions about the deep-chapter-scope numbering detailed here: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/24.1/ug-pdf-css/topics/dcpp_numbering_intro.html. It appears to be what I need - page numbering that resets at each chapter. It's introducing two issues out of the box that m...

Re: Different footers or headers in the same output
Thanks Chris and Julien! I'll try to deep dive into this article and try things out. This change can and should be applied to topic elements. If an individual element within a topic changes, we consider the whole topic to be in whatever revision that change was under. That being said, it might make ...

Different footers or headers in the same output
Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to set different headers or footers depending on how you've flagged a topic within the same PDF (and webhelp, but PDF is more important for us). For example, the default footer can say Revision 1, and certain pages in a next revision will have to say Revision 2 whi...

Re: Figure Cross Reference Sometimes Display As ID
Returning with the solution - we had duplicate topics IDs that were confusing the links. Running Validate and Check for Completeness on the DITA map and making them unique solved this issue.

Re: Figure Cross Reference Sometimes Display As ID
Hi, Thanks for proposing a solution! It did not work. I don't believe the figure links are broken as they appear and work fine in PDF output, and this issue is limited to webhelp responsive. Even within webhelp responsive, the figures themselves show up, sometimes right under the links to them that ...

Figure Cross Reference Sometimes Display As ID
This happens with webhelp responsive output (no issues in the PDF), and only for rare topics in the latest version of Editor. We can't figure out what's different about those topics or images that isn't happening to the rest. When cross-referencing figures in webhelp, we'd like them to say "Ref...

For future reference, to address the issue, we had to remove a link from the <shortdesc> section of the problem topics.

Hi,
This didn't work to find the particular errors it seems, but did draw out new ones. I've send a sample issue file to the Oxygen team for support.
Thanks all!

All links to other topics in a single chapter not displaying reference title
We have a situation where all links to other topics in a single chapter (but for some reason not one topic in that chapter) show #unique_250 or #unique_whatevernumber instead of the topic title they are linking to. The links themselves work, but for some reason their titles don't display for this on...

Re: Overflow Wrap in Tables Overriding Hyphenation Rules
Hi, I seem to be having the same issue. I would like words to break with a hyphen in table cells (I don't care where in the word they break), and I don't want any words to overflow the cells. overflow-wrap seems to be the only CSS class that fits words into a table cell without going beyond the line...

Re: Missing Templates Tab in Webhelp and PDF Transforms
Hi Cosmin,
That worked! We had an image not stored in the dita folder. Deleting it brought the tab back.
Thanks for the help!
Veronica

Missing Templates Tab in Webhelp and PDF Transforms
Hi, I seem to be missing a Templates tab in all transformation scenerios, where they previously worked. The Parameters, Filters, Advanced, and Output tabs are all there, but the Templates tab, as see in the screenshot here, is missing: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/23.1/ug-developerEclipse/...

Re: Multiple levels of menu in Webhelp Responsive Tree
Hi, I'm trying to do this too and the Transform fails. I've tried copying the shorter <xslt> snippet into the template descriptor file within the <webhelp>, <parameters>, and other sections but it still shows a fatal error. The tree-recursive.xml file I created lives under com.oxygenxml.webhelp.resp...

Remove chapter numbering from headers
Hi, My team has a rather unique situation due to regulatory requirements where not every chapter number will be used in order for our manual. For example, we have a Chapter 3 but no 1 or 2. We're autonumbering chapters using the "shallow" option, as well as using some CSS customizations I ...

File name changes in reusable components
Hello, I'm facing a few issues updating links, especially for reusable components. As an overall question for all types of files, when we rename files, is there a way to make the references to those files in ditamaps, other topics, etc. auto update? What we're currently doing is: 1. rename a file 2....

Horizontal tables keep several pages after in landscape mode
Hi, I'm not sure this is a Chemistry-related issue, but it is the processor my team is using. I've noticed that when we set the orient@land attribute on tables, the pages the tables are on do indeed orient landscape, but this doesn't stop until the next chapter begins in the bookmap type ditamap. Al...
