Locking Files Using Git LFS
Hello, I recently noticed the support for Git LFS in the 5.2.0 version of the Git client and decided to experiment locking the .xpr file (or any file in Git) as suggested in this article: https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/project/file_lock.html I’m curious to know if there are any reasons why we shoul...

Re: Multiple Previous/Next links in wh_navigation_ links
Thanks, Radu. I got the file to customize the Next/Prev links: maplinkNextPrevFullIteration.xsl . And adding [not(contains(@href,'#'))] to the 'next' and 'previous' sections works perfectly as I require them to. So, to add this in my webhelp template, I would need to create a plugin. Something like ...

Re: Multiple Previous/Next links in wh_navigation_ links
Hi Marius, Thanks for all the information. I think my best option is to go back to using force-unique="true". However, when i do this and i have nested topics, clicking the Next button also goes to these nested (#) topics. Is there any way i can customize the Next/Previous links to skip li...

Re: Multiple Previous/Next links in wh_navigation_ links
Hi Marius, Thanks for the info. My topics are structured in the following way and I have hundreds of them. We migrated from another tool to Oxygen XML and I don't want to change this structure. Adding the copy-to attribute for each manually will be quite a task to do, unless there's some easier way ...

Re: Multiple Previous/Next links in wh_navigation_ links
Hi, I too am facing the exact same issue. I seem to get multiple navigation links only when topics have nested topic sections and the transformation parameter force-unique is set as ' false '. If I set the parameter as ' true ', the links appear fine for these pages. Not sure why this happens, but i...

Re: Include multiple webhelp.custom.resources paths
Hi, I've got a workaround and it seems to work if I use sub-folders. For example, I've set the PDF transformation output directory as ${cfd}/resources/pdfs , and for the webhelp transformation, I've set the webhelp.custom.resources parameter as ${cfd}/resources . The splash.jpg file is placed in the...

Re: Include multiple webhelp.custom.resources paths
Also, I forgot to mention that for the PDF transformation, the clean.output parameter is set to no. Yet the output folder gets cleaned each time.
Thanks,
Ken
Thanks,

Include multiple webhelp.custom.resources paths
Hi, I'm trying out the following scenario for generating the webhelp output along with PDFs: For the PDF transformation, I've set the output folder to ${cfd}/pdfs . And for the webhelp trasnformation, I've set the same folder as the webhelp.custom.resources parameter. And this works fine when I sele...

Re: WebHelp output size
Hi Costin, Thanks for the information. I have a Command Reference manual, and this has a long list of commands from A to Z. And now in the WebHelp output, each command page has the TOC links of all the other commands, which seems unnecessary. Using toc=”no” makes it look like the topic is missing fr...

WebHelp output size
Hi, I’m from a company that is successfully using Oxygen XML Author and PDF Chemistry, and we are now evaluating Oxygen WebHelp as a potential publishing solution. In the WebHelp output, I’ve noticed that the publication TOC links get added to every single topic file. This drastically increases the ...
