Julien, My inspector shows this: <article xmlns:nd="http://www.oxygenxml.com/css2fo/named-destinations" class="- topic/topic reference/reference topic reference nested0 wide" aria-labelledby="ariaid-title2" break-before="true" is-chapter="true" id=&q...

Hello Julien!

Unfortunately, no effect.
Does it should work?

Code: Select all

How to rotate the whole chapter?

Hi! (I've read all topics and articles here related to "landscape") One of my topics contains wide content, so I want to place it on the landscape page. I've got definitions in my CSS: @page landscape-page:right { size: landscape; margin-top: 2.5cm; margin-bottom: 1.5cm; margin-left: 2cm; ...

<codeph> trims spaces

Hi! Some commands need really three spaces between parameters. But when I use, for example, this code: <codeph>ru GXG_DESCRI006</codeph> I got one space only. My solution is <codeph>ru   GXG_DESCRI006</codeph> but I think it is not suitable. Sincerely, Dmitry

Re: The first page of document (not frontmatter) - different background

Thank you, Costin, it works on the topic's page.
But chapter number still appears in TOC. How to hide it?

Sincerely,
Dmitry

Re: The first page of document (not frontmatter) - different background

Hi Costin!
I should have been more precise. I need the title on this page to have no number, not a page. Selector in my CSS is about it.

Dmitry

Re: The first page of document (not frontmatter) - different background

Hi Costin! Unfortunately, they don't work together. The topic marked with outputclass="firstChapter before-toc" is before the table of contents, has its own background, but still has a number, despite the *[class ~= "map/map"][numbering ^= 'deep'] *[class ~= "map/topicref&qu...

Using XPath with bookmap metadata

Hi!
Please help me to return the value of bookmeta/bookrights/copyrlast/year.
Expression

Code: Select all

//*[contains(@class, "bookmap/year")]/text()
returns two values, from <copyrfirst> and <copyrlast>.

Dmitry

Re: Picture path error in PDF output

I see, Dan, thanks!
I should have guessed that it is bad idea to transform individual topics to check the appearance of graphics.
Only ditamap.
Even if it's 40 pages.

BTW, just for ask - one of links in my example is about image inside. But is causes an error as well. Why?

Dmitry

Re: Picture path error in PDF output

Hi Dan. I've prepared an example. Topic from first folder is processed properly. Topic from second folder takes error messages for every picture reference (I put the picture in two places): Image not found. URI: file:/D:/Temp/1/checkbox.svg. (See position 10:478) Image not found. URI: file:/D:/Temp/...

Picture path error in PDF output

Hi team!
I've met a strange thing - inline images don't appear in PDF. I tried to prepare an example, but it didn't happen again for the short filepath.
Please see a screenshot.

Dmitry

How to avoid page breaks between some chapters?

Hi! I need to place some very short chapters on the same page. I see that chapter heading has a different behavior than topic heading, and *[class~="topic/topic"] > *[class~="topic/title"] { page-break-before:avoid; } doesn't work. I tried to apply something like this: *:not([cla...

Re: The first page of document (not frontmatter) - different background

Hi Costin! Thanks a lot! It works. But works for chapter after TOC only. What should I modify to apply this solution to chapter with outputclass="before-toc"? (I don't know how to combine two or more "outputclass". I found the 'before-toc' string in XSL file only.) Sincerely, Dmi...

Hello Julien,
no result again... It looks like custom CSS is ignored. Maybe merged.html can help? I have attached it.

The first page of document (not frontmatter) - different background

Hi again.
Please tell me how to provide the first page of the first chapter with it's own background image.
Is there some named page for this case?
I tried

Code: Select all

    @page :first {
background-image: url(page_background.svg);
    }
but it works exactly like

Code: Select all

"@page chapter:first"
.

Re: Is there a Macro Recording for Repeated Tasks???

Hi!
If your files have exacly the same structure, and it's possible to organize XXX as one row, maybe there's a reason to make a table with columns:

filename
cmd
title

and process it with MS SQL Server Cursor function. I made it once, 200 files per second.

Scaling suppresses alignment (bug?)

Hi!
I've found that scenario "DITA Map PDF - based on HTML5 & CSS" doesn't allow me to scale image and center it at the same time.
Scaled image becomes aligned to left.
Please see attachment.

Dmitry

How to skip chapter number for the first topic?

Hi Team! Some document standards wants me to place introductory topics before TOC, an these topics have to have no number: <chapter href="32-01_installation_ug/concept/c_annotation.dita" outputclass="before-toc"/> <chapter href="32-01_installation_ug/concept/c_abbreviations....
