When troubleshooting a merge conflict I noticed that some files marked as different had not differences in content. The timestamps were different, of course, but so was the file size, which I found surprising. I have my settings set up thus: Options > Diff > Directories Comparison > Compare files by...

Pretty sure I did that. Hard to tell now, though, because I did a fresh re-install and it works now. I will try your suggestion if I run into this again.

Looked in Options>Preferences>Editor>Content Completion>XSLT, don't see any way to turn off this particular message without turning off validation altogether. Any way to do so other than adding more lines to my XSLT?
