oXygen Editor Content Completion Assistant suggestions - question

Hello, I was recently asked a question about the autocomplete suggestions in oXygen Editor text mode: - where does oXygen take the suggestions for languages for xml:lang definition from? dita_question.png I read that DITA-OT is not case sensitive - why is there option de-DE and not de-de? Is there a...

Re: Ordered list inside of the list item

I am using pdf based on XSL-FO and I have a custom plugin for this product. Right now I don't see any other instances where this would have to be used but I wouldn't want to apply this change to all second-level ordered lists. Hi justyna_i, What transformation types are you using? Do you want this b...

Yes, something like that.
chrispitude wrote: Tue Aug 15, 2023 2:45 am Hi justyna_i,

Are you looking for something like this, starting a new count but using the same number format?

Code: Select all

1. Top list item 1
2. Top list item 2
   1. Lower list item 1
   2. Lower list item 2
   3. Lower list item 3
3. Top list item 3

Ordered list inside of the list item

Hello, I would like to create an ordered list inside of the list item (of the existing ordered list). When I next <ol> element inside of <li> I get second level bullets (a, b, c instead of 1, 2, 3). Is there any way to make dita think that this is completely new ordered list and start numbering on t...

Re: How to remove the setting to start new chapter always on the new page?

Hi Justyna, Does the issue occur with the default XSL-FO transformation, without your custom plugin? Yes it does. I think I read somewhere on oXygen help page that this is a default behaviour for bookmap chapter. It always starts new chapter on new page (it starts new page sequence if I remember co...

Re: How to remove the setting to start new chapter always on the new page?

Hey chrispitude, I am using PDF based on XSL-FO and I have a custom plugin based on org.dita.pdf2 plugin (I am transforming a dita bookmap). How to remove the setting to start new chapter always on the new page?

Hello,

as I understood from older posts, the setting that every new chapter starts on a new page is a default behaviour.
How to change it so that chapters would start immediately under previous content?
What attribute and what dita-ot plugin file should I look into?

Re: ditaval issue oXygen v25.0

Hello Radu,

I did double check that I am using the same ditaval. This problem appears only in oXygen version 25.0.
Previously I was using oXygen 20.1 and there was no issue.
Same project, same transformation scenario.

I don't know if it changes anything but the project map is a bookmap.

Thank you Julien! Your comment made me think whether that new plugin is integrated at all. I did some tests with existing strings-en-en.xml (changing some strings) and my changes did not show. Meaning that I was editing the wrong place. Apparently I have 2 locations that look very similar with oXyge...

Yes, I have run the integrator. If you want this only for specific <ol> elements you could set an "outputclass="custom"" attribute on it and then in the XSLT try to increase the spaces only if the <ol> has a certain value for the outputclass attribute. This is what I want to achieve but I don't have enough kno...

Ordered list - two different sets of attributes

Hello,

in my document I have several ordered lists and some of them need to have bigger spaces between <li> items.

How can this be achieved?
I am using pdf XSL-FO plugin based on dita-ot pdf out of the box.

Re: unable to create webhelp responsive after update to version 24

Thank you for the response,

I am using custom webhelp plugin that was made with older version of dita-ot and that is what most likely is causing this issue.

I am not sure how to make custom webhelp plugin (and pdf plugin) compatible with newer version of dita-ot :(

We are using XSL-FO custom pdf plugin and there were some adjustments to index attributes but nothing that would go so deep to interfere with keyrefs, in my opinion.

You are absolutely right, there are also smaller icons in the pdf and I dont want them scaled.

As a solution, we run a batch task on all images, that scaled them to the same size and resolution and it worked.
