Re: Apply formatting to first column of table based on "otherprops" attribute value

Hi Oxygen Team, I think I figured it out and am posting my solution for the forum...the key is to specify "table" as the element, as otherprops is used in multiple elements across our documentation set. 1. Menu > XML Refactoring > Rename Attribute 2. For Element, specify table. 3. For Outp...

Re: Apply formatting to first column of table based on "otherprops" attribute value

Hi Costin and Dan, Understood and thanks for your help. I am reviewing the XML Refactoring Tool dialog box and options and I am not clear on how to achieve what would be the ideal result, which is to add a new attribute to tables containing otherprops="cheader", such as outputclass="c...

Re: Apply formatting to first column of table based on "otherprops" attribute value

Hi Dan,

I am working with 100s of legacy topics (reports) that use "otherprops". Is there another, less elegant method I can use to style output based on this attribute?

Regards,

Paul H

Re: Controlling Page Breaks Before/After for Part/Chapter

Hi Radu, Thanks for pointing me to the merged.xml... would you believe I've gotten through 80% of the templating without referring to this? Here is a snippet of the XML that I am trying to control page breaks for: <part xmlns:dita-ot="http://dita-ot.sourceforge.net/ns/201007/dita-ot"...

Re: Avoid Chapter numbering of some topics

Hello, I am in the midst of customizing our CSS and used the following methods to hide labels from Body/TOC/PDF Bookmarks: /* Hide Part and Chapter Label/Number */ *[class ~= "topic/topic"] > *[class ~= "topic/title"]:before { display:none; } /* Hide Figure and Table Label/Number...

Re: Populating <bookmap> element attributes on cover page.

Hi Dan, Thank you for describing and providing the syntax for this, as well as supporting materials. It worked perfectly with a couple of tweaks (to my own bad code), which I have posted here for future reference to other users. I am new to CSS for Print / XPath and appreciate the guidance. We're ta...
