Use the same string files for both Webhelp Responsive and PDF5.ml?

Is there a way to use the same set of string files for both Webhelp Responsive and PDF5.ml? Currently we reference them within the plugins. If we have to make a change, we need to make it in 2 files. We plan to upgrade to the latest version of both plugins within a new DITA-OT (3.2.1). Any suggestio...

The   entity is causing DITA-OT error

When publishing a bookmap to DITA-OT PDF5.ml plugin, topics that include the   entity are missing from the output. I'm getting this error. The entity "nbsp" was referenced, but not declared. It looks like this entity is deprecated for DITA 2.0. http://forums.xmetal.com/index.php?topic=2724.0 If...

Re: DITA 1.3 Cross-Deliverable Links

Any update on how to make DITA cross-deliverable links work? I've been trying to figure it out as described here: https://www.oxygenxml.com/dita/1.3/specs/archSpec/base/links-between-maps.html I downloaded the cross-deliverable-links dita-test-case: https://github.com/dita-community/dita-test-cases/...

Webhelp Responsive publishing template that includes first topic in main page?

Hi There,

Is there a way to create a Webhelp Responsive template that shows the first topic on the main page (index.html) like Webhelp Classic?

Thanks,

Leroy

Re: How to publish a webhelp responsive custom publishing template directly from the DITA-OT?

Hi Costin, Cool, thanks for the info. We publish to webhelp responsive through a DITA-OT installed on Astoria. Using a parameter to specify a template will be helpful because we will need different output for different publication types. Just curious, is there a way to "hard-code" a default custom p...

How to publish a webhelp responsive custom publishing template directly from the DITA-OT?

Hi There, I followed the How to Use XSLT Extension Points from a DITA-OT Plugin procedure and downloaded the sample files. https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/21.1/ug-editor/topics/whr-responsive-override-xslt-dita-xslt-import-sample.html I got everything to work great when publishing directly fr...

Responsive Webhelp: include bookmap xml:lang value to footer of main page

How can I add the bookmap xml:lang value to footer of a Responsive Webhelp main page (index.html)? I'm working in this file ..\xsl\mainFiles\customFooter.xsl This value shows up correctly in all of my topic footers, but not the main index.html page. <xsl:value-of select="document($windows_inputMap)/...

Webhelp Responsive topichead navigation

For topicheads within a bookmap, we have noticed that clicking on the topichead on the side TOC will take you to the first child topic, but the same link in the main navigation menu does not. MenuTOC.png Is there a way to enable topichead links in the main menu that will take you to the first child ...

Re: DITA processing instruction provided by Astoria to include in webhelp output

So far I've figure this out. I was able to get the 2 attribute values I needed. I then attached those values to variables and tested them in the output. <xsl:variable name="astVersion"/> <xsl:variable name="astDate"/> <xsl:template match="processing-instruction('ASTDOCREVINFO')"> Version: <xsl:value...

DITA processing instruction provided by Astoria to include in webhelp output

Hi There, I need to modify the oxygen webhelp DITA-OT plugin to include information that is provided by Astoria within a processing instruction. Example: <task> <?ASTDOCREVINFO __docVernName="1.6" __docVerDesc="Description goes here" __docVerUser="Leroy Steinbacher" __docVerDate="June 19, 2019 12:51...

Webhelp responsive - custom image on home page

We have some new users moving from classic to responsive webhelp. They would like to add a custom image to the home page like they were able to do for classic webhelp using the first topic in the DITA bookmap. Is there a way to add a custom image to the webhelp responsive home page using a publishin...

Alter DITA validation to ignore ISO Schematron warning

When we run DITA map validation, we get some warnings that we don’t care about, and they really clutter up the results. We aren’t going to fix them, so it would be better to just not report them at all. (I also wonder if the map validation would be faster if we didn’t check for these? That would be ...
